Pink Saturday

Well, we are back from vacation and it is Pink Saturday again, yea!!! I have had these three painted little girls my whole life. My "Mimi" (my great-grandmother) painted these and they were in a front entryway cabinet while I was growing up. When I got married, they came with me, and have always been displayed in my china cabinet. Every time I catch a glimpse of them they remind me of Mimi. Mimi was very crafty, could sew beautifully, and grew gorgeous flowers. Sadly, she passed away in 1989 after a battle with Alzheimer's.

Those little dolls are precious. I'm sure even more precious to you because your Mimi painted them. I love treasures like that. There's a place in your heart for them.

Happy Pink Saturday!

Hi Darlene,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. How wonderful to have something that has so many memories attached to it...the figurines are darling. I scrolled down and saw last weeks pink post with Lexi in her pink ballarina tutu. She is so cute and looks perfect in it.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

love your pink Saturday post. I just posted "grandma's dishes"... kinda of similar to your post today in the fact that it was something passed down. I just return today from the car cruz & burn out in Walters, OK. Boy was it hot being out doors all day. xoxo, Joanna
