Couple More Cuties and Painting

I thought I would show you a couple more cuties I bought. I fell in love with this bunny and had been watching him at a local "loss leader" type store. When I went in there the other day he was marked at $7.00 and there were only two of them left. He hopped right in my cart. Also, this little white bird was $1.99 and she flew in.
Another view, the bunny is about 10 1/2 inches tall. I painted this round wooden piece black to kind of anchor this vignette on my coffee table.
Here is the cheese holder, I did paint the bottom white and right now it is in my china cabinet holding this little bird....of course, that is subject to change at any moment.........
Here is another small project I did.....this is a paper mache letter and I painted it black then used Mod Podge to put scrapbook paper on it. I absolutely LOVE it and can't wait to do some more. Can you believe it was the first time ever that I have used Mod Podge?
And last I found this little sad looking table at a garage sale for just a few dollars. My parents have been wanting something small for their back porch between their chairs so I picked it up and called them to see......white or black?
Isn't it beautiful now?

GREAT table! You know, I've never actually used Modge Podge either. I water down regular old Elmer's glue to decopauge with. Is that cheating? lol

Oh I love that bunny! Great idea using the wooden piece to anchor the vignette. I do this on my table and counters when I put a vignette's together. I like to use unusual place mats.

I've never paper mached anything! I want to try it though. That little table turned out great.

The table looks great! And I love the letter. I've been wanting to do something like that. Is Modge Podge hard to use?

Some great finds.

The table looks great in black. Amazing what a difference a coat of paint makes.

Don't feel bad I have never Mod Podged either.

Thank you for your kind comments on my blog. They mean a lot to me.

Hugs,
Kim
