First Day of School and Birdie Love

Well it is hard to believe, but I have a fourth grader! Lexi was so excited to be going back to school this morning.

This is the first year I have let her ride the school bus.....man was she thrilled!

Also, my new lamp came in.......I just LOVE it! I was browsing the Penney's online furniture and categories (still on the hunt for furniture for Lexi's room make-over) and came across this. It is from the Linden Street line.

Oh, she looks so excited. I'm on a lamp hunt as well. I actually want new lamp shades. I can't find what I want so I may turn to the catalogs. That bird lamp is darling.

I have tears in my eyes. It just seems like yesterday my "little" girl was prancing around--getting all excited for school to start! What wonderful memories--well, most of 'em :-) Her new hair cut is adorable! I just roared when I saw the baby blocks border!! That is something I would do. The new color and trim sound very nice and "age appropriate" ;-) I hope Lexi enjoyed her first day of school year 08-09! Also, I love it that she's a dancer, too. So was my girl. We spent many a dollar on classes and costumes. dana

Lexi looks happy and ready to be starting school. My son will be starting 4th grade this year too! He goes to the school I teach at in a different town so there is no bus available for him. He gets a ride every day from either mom or dad LOL!

take care,
Dawn
