Pink Saturday

Lexi wanted me to share the flower she painted for Pink Saturday, so here it is.......
When she was browsing through all of my paints to decide her flower color she picked out..........Lisa Pink!!
I showed her how to do some shading.......

and how to make some dots in the middle of the flower with the stylus......
she wanted it to say Welcome and asked me to write it in pencil and she traced over it with paint.
Here is her finished product!! I think she did great for a first time painting a wooden piece. We tied a pink ribbon at the top and it has a proud place hanging on a knob on her dresser.
If you want to check out some more pink fun, visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound (just click on my Pink Saturday button at the left) for all the participants.

Thank you for your sweet message on my blog. I clicked over to yours and have been reading past posts. I am also a Hobby Lobby fanatic! I actually haven't been this week which is very unusual for me. I usually go once or twice a week. I love the roosters and other metalware things you got there. They look great on top of your armoire. Keep visiting me!
