Tassel Time....look what I made....

First off let me say that since I started blogging (very end of June) I have been reading Susie's Bienvenue and Nester's Nesting Place, and they both sell the most BEAUTIFUL tassels. As a matter of fact, within about a month, I have purchased three of them from these lovely ladies.....tassel adoration!!!! Anyway, Elise from Nest Sweet Nest did a wonderful tassel tutorial (Thank You Elise!!!) and I thought "I think I can do that"........so here are some Fall tassels I made.
This metal acorn was my first one and it is a little bit crooked. I learned on this one to put my ribbon on at the top to see the hanging angle before I glue my pretty trim on. I still think it turned out great!
This is my second one......much better. Just a smidgen crooked (that is the hardest part) but I am also kind of angling trying to stay out of my own shadow while taking pictures.
Here is my third tassel........yep she is straight.....yea!!
My last tassel I worked on is my favorite......everything seemed to turn out right on it. I can tell with a lot of practice you just get better and better on these, as we know by Susie's and Nester's.
Anyway, thought I would share some of the pretties I made. Tomorrow, I'll share some of my thrift store and yard sale finds.

Those are very pretty!

I would like to attempt this project one day...maybe with my boys, well at least the youngest one...they love crafts, but I have never been the crafty mom on the block...but I am starting to dip my toes into the crafty waters lately :)

Thanks for sharing your tassels with us, they look great! Good job!

Very nice! :o) You did a super job! I tried my hand at making tassels too and did a few things differently, not having a tutorial. I was winging it! I will do the ribbon different next time. :o)
