Bling My Boo..

I did a fun little project this weekend of "blinging" my BOO! I spray painted my letters black then mod-podged scrapbook paper on them. After that I sanded them and put another couple of mod-podge coatings on top. Then, I used some black eyelash trim and also added some ring spiders. I cut off the ring part and just hot glued them down. Then for a little bling, I added a clear gem to their tail (? I don't think on a spider it is called a tail?) section. Enlarge the pictures for a better look. Anyway, easy and I think they turned out pretty cute.

Be sure to visit Lemon Annie as she is having a Fall link-a-thon. Stop by and link so we can see your Fall decorations inside and out!

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
I just had to take a few minutes to see what you've been up to before I head off to Lobbyland. Looks like you've been having fun altering letters! They look spooktacular! *smiles* Have a wonderful day and hopefully I have only one more night of sleeping away from home.

Cute idea. We don't celebrate halloween but I can see using similar ideas for other holidays.

Great job...they look so festive! Even though it is going to be 90 degrees here today...I am still in the Halloween mood...having an 11 year old will do that to ya!

Have a great week!

What a wonderful project!! You did such a good job making it all purdy and stuff! I probably would have just spray painted it black and called it a day. I'm copying this one to my project list if you don't mind!

I love the boo! I want some of these-my husabnd told me I already have too many things that say boo! He is kind of a punk! He also had nothing nice to say about my witch clock! I told him that he had to his own laundry this week!
That will teach him to only say nice, fantastically positive things about any and ALL things that I create! PUNK!

They do look cute! I glittered all my spiders but I like what you did too!

Very cute! I'm terrified of spiders so I usually don't use them in my Halloween decorations. Yours, however, look much less intimidating with the bling on them. Cute idea!
