The Farm Animals at the Pumpkin Patch...

Edited: My computer is down at home and has been since last night, so if you don't hear from me that is why. You know I always visit every one. I hope it gets fixed and up today. We are back up and going again...WOOHOO!!
Today let's visit the animals that were at the Pumpkin patch....the farm part. Lexi was very leery about feeding the animals. We were having to show her that they were not going to eat her hand.......lol

This one constantly climbed up as far as he could on the fence.....give me food!!!!
Two of the babies in the pen.

Lexi would not even attempt to feed this big guy!!! See how far back from the fence she stayed?
Here she is at the Rooster house!
Come back here.....I have food in my hand for you........

The llama was just hanging out.
I'll have a few more tomorrow....nothing like dragging it out....hehehe

I remember feeling that way about feeding the animals. There were some I kept my distance from.

You got great pictures. The rooster house looks pretty neat.

There used to be a farm close by that we'd go to as kids and walk around with some of the animals. Sadly, it closed a few years back.

take care,
Dawn

My youngest daughter was just the same way about feeding farm animals! We had a petting zoo as part of our nature and science center in town, and there was a part where you could go into an enclosed area and feed a flock of goats. We used to have to carry Kathleen on our shoulders in there. She wanted no part of the goats bumping and jostling to get food.

Glad you had such a fun time there.

What fun. I love petting zoos.
I don't blame her for that big guy - he looks pushy.

I'm just like Lexi; I'm afraid they'll bit my hand. (shudder)

My family would love to go there. You sure made out with that surprise box you got in the mail. I love that framed crow.

Happy blogging :)

At our pumpkin patch we weren't allowed to feed the animals this year. We assume someone got bite last year and complained. Oh well...Ya'll had plenty to feed and looks like there was a lot of fun too!

I really want a goat. Is that wierd? :)

Looks like y'all had a great time! I love being in the country around animals. Although, I prefer the really big ones to be behind a fence too!

Hi Darlene:
You take good pictures with your camera. I really enjoyed them.
I was reading your comments and Liz said she really wants a goat. She should come over to my blog and read the first one I posted about our experience with them. lol

Looks like y'all had great fun. Doing things w/grandparents (and parents-in our case) is always great.

See y'all are in short sleeves too.
Will it ever get cooler? : )

Great pictures. Lexi was a lot braver than I would have been. I don't do too well with animals! Looking forward to seeing more pictures tomorrow.

Glad you got your computer back up and running. Not having a computer would not be good especially when you have all of your blogging buddies waiting to read your next new post. LOL!

Oh, I LOVE going to the petting farm. Nothing like it really!

We went to one while back and we just simply had a ball. I should post those pictures up...some of them was really funny!

My boy also gets freaked out a bit with goats... it was a riot to watch.

Those are such great pictures. Lexi especially, but those goats are sooo funny. I've probably mentioned it before but Lexi has the best posture for her age. By the way, she has a very young looking mother too.

Petting farms are so fun! It looks like you all had a really good time there. I had to chuckle about Lexi being a little nervous about feeding the animals; this was exactly what happened when we took ours! It took a while for them to get used to it! :)
