I Love My Blogging Friends....

I just wanted to let every one know, I am not sure what I expected when I started blogging. Certainly not all the friendships online that I feel I have made. I didn't even know what blogging was until I was on another sight and someone had linked to one of the decorating blogs. From that, I kept coming back to the blog and started looking at comments and their favorites and linking to those blogs. Finally, I decided if I could figure out what to do, I would try a blog. I never expected to meet such fun, caring, wonderful people as I have met. I look so forward to reading your blogs as I do to receive comments on mine from you. So thank you every one that has been a part of my blogging experience. I LOVE all of you.

Anyway, Debbie from Ribbonwood Cottage saw a comment I made and decided to bless me with some of her handmade cuties. Any time I see that she has posted I always have to zoom over to her blog because it will always be something GREAT! She makes all kinds of cute, cute stitchery projects, decorated seed packets and all kinds of other goodies. She also shows beautiful tablescapes. This box was on my doorstep and my heart skipped a beat.
Look what it was packed with. First off a BEAUTIFUL, sweet card that Debbie wrote. Then she sent me two of her hand made stitchery's that she framed and put a ribbon on....aren't they the cutest...a crow and a candy corn. Also, two decorated primitive crows and they smell great! She also painted a little clothespin and put a jewel & ribbon on it and a little tag that says Plant Seeds of Kindness Harvest Love. She also includes some little stickers that I am using as scatters.
Here is the crow stitchery.
Here is the candy corn and one of the crows. Aren't they just adorable?

Those crows next went up into my berry sticks where they are perching. They look really cute there. They have already made friends with Mr. Dollar Tree crow on the cage.

Here are the two framed pieces next to the love seat. I just love them! If you have never visited Debbie, please do. She is delightful and makes all kinds of neat, fun things. Be sure to tell her I sent you. Again, thank you so much Debbie. I am so happy that I met you through blogging.

Your so right Darlene! I came over here from Yahoo 360 after blogging there for a couple of years, I met only a few that I came close to and still keep in touch with but over here there seems to be more interaction among many. Don't get me wrong I love the few I met over there and cherish there friendships.

I also met Debbie and she was one that joined in with me with my card swap so I look forward to bonded with her even more. I love all her cute ideas and have done a couple myself.

I am so happy I came upon your place also. One of the first few over here I have come to feel a closeness with and hope to continue that friendship!

Love the goodies you received!

Oh how nice, and fun!!! Blogging is fun isn't it Darlene! I got into it to promote my photography business.... Uh.... Well, I opened up "Little Things in Life" right after that and...Well that seems to be what I like to do as my 'hobby' now.

I have been in a decorating rut, I hate my house and yard mood for the last couple of years, but you ladies have inspired me. Now I want to spruce it up and 'make it work'. Well enough said. I moved into my DH's bachelor pad that he build in '85 as a 30 yo who had always lived at home with his folks. He spent extra money on things that a 30 yo bachelor would think is cool. Since he did not cook, clean, have any need for linens and things, he scrimped and cut back on all lady amenities in this house. He still loves this house. I tolerate it. LOL! He does let me decorate it anyway I choose. And when I tackle something I always upgrade big time. :D

Sorry my post is so long. I can't write anything like this on my blog. He would read it and it would hurt his feelings. I would not want to do that. He is too sweet.

Oh, I hear you about the bloggers out there! It is such a great community of folks---I can't believe I lived so long without "meeting" all of the wonderful folks via blogs. They've so enriched my life----I have to say YOU have been one of my favs since I started blogging. Did we start about the same time? I have enjoyed getting to know you and seeing the great projects you work on!! You are so sweet and you certainly deserved those darling pictures!!! What fun additions to your H-W decor! Have a great day!!! L, dana

That's so sweet...I feel the same way...I started after a friend of mine had been doing it for a while...it was a way for me to keep up with her after she moved away...I finally gave in and I love it too...your blog is one of my favorites...I love crafty stuff...I don't get around to it as much as I would like because of Abby..just don't have the time...anyway..I am keeping a book of things that she and I can do when she gets a little older...such fun...

I'll check Debbie out:)
