Turner Falls Park......

After the lame craft show we still had the beautiful Turner Falls Park to explore and play in. Lexi got to bring a friend along with her. Since she is an only child, we usually try to bring a friend along when we go somewhere. The first thing they wanted to explore were the tepees. There were three of them that you could go in and out of.
Then we just roamed around and of course, took pictures.
Can everyone tell that Lexi takes dance? Look at that pose......

Lots of climbing areas.....this goes up to an old castle.
Ut oh, the girls were getting a little rambunctious so we had to jail them for a while.
Here is a bit of information about The Castle.

Here is a picture of the gorgeous waterfall. This water is freezing cold and yes, there were a lot of people swimming.....crazy!

Great photos! I love the teepee; I wanted one in the back yard to hang the porch swing in, so it would be covered, but hubby didn't go for the idea.

Wow! That place looks like so much fun to take kids to! My son is an only, also, so we try to let him take a friend with him when we go places, too.

Hi Darlene--Found your blog through a link on a friend's blog. What a great outing. I love the waterfalls and castle. This is just the kind of place our kids loved to explore when they were a bit younger!

What a stunning place! The waterfall spot is unreal...it looks like something out of a fantasy. But my favorite was the pouty faces of the inmates! Too adorable!
