Twilight, A Giveaway and a Scarecrow.......

Well, I told you all yesterday that I purchased this book on Saturday night.....I finished it by Sunday night. OH MY GOSH....it is fabulous! I have not read a book that captivated me like this one did in a long, long time. I'll be buying New Moon today! If you have the book and just haven't read it or are thinking about reading it......DO IT!!
A Giveaway!!!!! No, I am not having another giveaway but Katie at Blessed by 3 Miracles is and she is giving away this fabulous birdie. Now go on over here and enter!!!
Finally, see this?
Well, it turned into another Mr. Scarecrow box. Brandee of The Berry's Patch really, really wanted one so I made him and he went to live here. Go by and visit him and say hi!!
Here he is visiting on top of the fireplace bricks before he went to his new home.

Hi Darlene, another cute scarecrow...I love it. You are amazing, I would like to try one of these, but honestly I am a little scared to. Did you use a glue gun to hold things together or something else? They just turned out so cute. My hubby wondered why I have been decorating so much for Halloween, I told him there are so many ideas in blogland...very stimulating. Can't wait for Christmas! Yippeee, hey you could make some snowmen boxes! Or cute little gingerbread boxes! Im sure you have plenty of ideas!
Blessings,
Debbie

Hi Darlene, The Twilight series is definitely addicting! I haven't been able to put them down and I'm near the end of the last book now--I hate to see them end.

Love the scarecrow!

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
Aren't you just the sweetest to make a box for Brandee! Lucky lady! And he's adorable, did you paint his face yourself? I swear you're got loads of talent to spare Girlfriend! Wish I lived next door to you so maybe some of it would rub off on me *smiles* Hope you have a wonderfully blessed week!

I have a question about those books. Do you think I would like them since vampires have never really appealed to me, or is it the kind of book almost everyone likes even though there are vampires in it? : ) Your scarecrows are lovely!

I love those decorations. You did a great job. I wonder whether I could do something like that. It is an idea I am going to put aside I just love it.

Hope you had a great weekend and have a great day today too!

About that book, is it about vampires? I saw the previews of a movie last night with the same name and was wondering....?

I am a Christian, but have always loved vampire movies! LOL!

Have a great day!

Darlene,

You did a great job on the scarecrow, I might have to make me one of them or BEG like Brandee. LOL

With all the hipe on this book, I think I will have to get it soon, I saw last night where the movie is coming out on Nov. 21st. It was called Twilight so I might be assuming it is from this book.

Oh you were smart to wait to start reading them.. now you can read all 4 of them in a row! I got the first 3 last fall- and had to wait a full year for Breaking Dawn! Now, I've read all 4 of them 3 times!

Cute scarecrows!
I saw on Nikki's blog you are reading Twilight! I am in the fourth book and can't believe Vampires and Werewolves would have facinating to me. I guess it fits the time of year, although I too enjoy cute to ghoul. The fourth has been the best volume yet so happy reading!

Back again.. thanks for visiting! I had to read Breaking Dawn (#4)twice.. I didn't like it too much the first time because I pretty much skimmed it.. the second time I read every word, and I LOVED it! I found when I re-read them I liked them better because I wasnt' just trying to find out what happened next~ Too bad all of us (bloggers who love Twilight) can't meet somewhere and see the movie together.. I don't have any friends up where I live who have read them, or are even interested!!!

Hi Darene!

Love that scarecrow! Too darn cute for words!

As for the book Twilight: I am very interested in buying this book and was wondering which books comes next. I saw it at target today and I got confused in which order they come in. Help! :)

I love love to read and I will have to start carving out time just for reading. Got about 20 books laying around waiting for me to read them!

Thanks!

You do such a great job creating those scarecrow boxes. Too cute!
I think Debbie has a great idea about making snowman boxes too. They would make wonderful Christmas gifts! If you do, can I be on your gift giving list?

Hi Darlene~
I love the Scarecrow; he is adorable! I am sure Brandee will love him! :) What did you use for his head? Was it an ornament? I was having a terrible time finding just a plain ornament to use for one! :)

And I have heard that that series is wonderful. My friend lent me the book, but I took so long to start it that I had to give it back. I think I should just get it from the bookstore or library! :)

I hope you have a good night! :)

I have some of those papers I see on your scarecrow's. Did you just cover a box with them? Those are really cute...you could have a business. I see your first comment mentions snowmen...that would be so cute. Pressure is on now :)

I keep looking at these boxes because they are so cute. I've already commented on that, but I had to again. :-)
