The Rest of My Thanksgiving Decorations...

Here are the rest of my decorations to go through Thanksgiving. I made this little cross-stitched saying many, many years ago. It is "Home Sweet Home" for me. The is on my little desk that houses my bills to be paid.
My Welcome Harvest sign moved from the top of my little hutch to the top right of my computer desk, the scarecrow family from yesterday is to the left.
A cornucopia and pumpkins on the coffee table on top of a Fall runner.
This is above the fireplace on the bricks (we still need to build a mantle). You have seen the cute little candle holders before but they are here right now filled with pumpkins, acorns and textured balls and swirly things. Also, my little Moon Fairy is sitting up there.
Here is a close up of my little Moon Fairy.....the moon lights up. You know I am all about things that light up!
Here is more above the fireplace....the white pumpkins and berries were there before but I have added my white turkey to it.
Well, that is all the decorations for Thanksgiving.....we are barreling right along to that fabulous day!

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
I love your additions and rearrangments! I wish I had a sign, I love that Welcome sign with the pumpkins. And your cross stitch is beautiful! I don't have the patience to do much cross stitching but I might will have to try after seeing yours, makes a great display! Hope you have a wonderfully blessed day!

Darlene,

I love your Thanksgiving decorations. I'm really over the Halloween things and I'll be glad to put them away this weekend. I bought a cornucopia this year for the first time and you've given me some ideas on how to decorate using it.

Good morning Darlene. Your decorations are lovely. I like the cross stitch you did. I have crossed stitched only a handful of times and have nothing to show for it LOL!

I love puttering around and re-arranging things. Love the cross stitch - I tried doing one a few years ago but I think I need to wear my glasses when I'm doing that kind of work! Everything looks great!

Darlene,
Your Thanksgiving decorations looks great. I LOVE your cross stitched piece. I used to cross stitch but don't anymore. Now I've found that stitchery is so much easier because you don't have to concentrate!!! I have one tub of Thanksgiving that I can not find. I know it will be found when I pull out my Christmas...oh, well...now you see how organized I am.

I had to laugh when I was reading your post this morning... I know how much you like things that light up. In fact I was in a craft store the other day and I saw this cute thing and I said to my daughter, "put some lights in that puppy and Darlene would love it" My daughter thought it was cute but was wondering who in the world was Darlene? :) Then it hit her like a ton of bricks and before I got to tell her she said, "oooooooh blog friend right!?" Yes, that's right~♥

Awww sweet Lexi...if she only knew to stay young as long as she can. I will have a talk with Maddy this evening about my findings, hehe. They are so funny at this age. I dont want her to see me laugh cause I know it would hurt her little feelings. I pray she doesnt ask me about what I blogged about today. She sometimes does... I will have to just pull a mommie fib out of the air, ugh!
Love your Thanksgiving goodies. Im trying to clean house today to get ready for Christmas. I dont want to start pulling all of that out yet cause then I will be ready to pack it up before Christmas. Have a great day~

I don't know whether I mentioned this before, but I love the name Lexi. If I had another daughter, I would have named her Alexis Danielle or Danielle Alexis. I think I liked that name from Melrose Place. :O) It tickled me that you put spray painting as your hobby. Have you met Thrifty Decor Chick? You 2 should get together & have a spray painting party!!! LOL!

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one who likes to enjoy Thanksgiving and not just rush right into decorating for Christmas.
Everything looks great!
And speaking of thanks giving...I want you to know how much I appreciate your kind comments. It always makes me smile when I see that you've stopped by. Thank you!!!!

Darlene, you are amazing. I can't even think about doing anything different right now. I'm exhausted. That's why I tried to combine alot of my decorations into "Fall" theme, not just one of the holidays. Though I'd love to do what you've done. Take care and I have got to get back on the blog bandwagon. I fell off when we were rounding the end of October :-). Take care!!!

Looks great! Since we don't do halloween, I usually just leave out my fall stuff until Thanksgiving is over. But I have a concrete turkey that I add to it. I will have to get a pic to share so y'all can see my turkey. I love it!

Have a great weekend!

Darlene, your Thanksgiving decorations are just lovely. Mine are kind of half fall and some Halloween stuff still out there. I turned the pumpkin faces away. LOL.
You really have a decorators touch Darlene.

Thank you so much for your sweet comments about Cocoa. My daughter asked me to share his life with my friends. It was hard to do but Cocoa was a special dog whom everyone loved.
