Twilight and Hubby is Making Me Something.....

The movie was not exactly what I expected but I LOVED IT! It was done as more of a low budget film and I believe it was done by an independent film maker. Not all the glitz and glamour that we have come to expect from some of the big name movies. Bella told a lot of the story and it went very true to the book. The romance between Bella and Edward was just fabulous and they played the parts perfectly, of falling in love. I found myself glued to the screen and at times kind of holding my breath with the happenings. The actors in the film are so perfect and you just knew who they were when they came on screen. If you have read the book and loved it.....definitely go see the movie. We already want to go see it again!!

I'm giving y'all a teaser. I asked hubby to make me something and he has worked away on it. He actually finished it Wednesday night and primed it. We were hoping to get it painted Thursday but the wind was roaring and it was cold, cold outside. I'll have to see what today's weather brings.
Want to guess.....just for fun? I hope to show you on Monday or Tuesday.

Glad you enjoyed the movie! I'm definitely going to have to see it myself!

I have no guesses as to what your hubby is building for you! I'm completely stumped! Isn't it great, though, to have a hubby who is a "Mr. Fix-It"? My husband is like that and it's wonderful!

Have a fabulous weekend, my friend!

I'm so glad to hear that Twilight gets a good review. I bet you had so much fun with your friends. It's nice to act like a kid again sometimes, isn't it? My daughter and I are going on Wednesday!

I can't begin to guess what your husband is building. Guess I'll have to stay tuned until all is revealed!

Have a great weekend!

Hi Darlene,
Glad you liked the movie. I'm still reading the book...I'm not quite as in to it as some. LOL

I'm not much of an original thinker..but is he building a shelf of some type to display Christmas whatevers?

I was awaiting your review of the movie - glad you enjoyed it.
Hopefully I'll get to see it soon.

As for the project....hmmm.
I have no idea but I bet it'll look beautiful when y'all are done.

It's usually a bit of a disappointment when they pump out a movie so quickly after a hit book. However, I'm glad you enjoyed it enough to want to see it again.

If I had to guess, I'd say a picture frame.

Hey there ~ My daughter tried to get me to go at midnight....but I was too sleepy...but we are going later today....and the bonus for us in this neck of the woods is that a lot of it was filmed around here...if they wanted a damp and overcast back drop then the Northwest is a great choice.

I love it when my husband gets all into a project...I know how fun it is to be in a creative mood...I can't wait to see what he is building. Your lights look great.

Have a great weekend!

Smiles ~ Ramona

I'm so excited about the movie, but keeping my expectations low. I realize that the combo of swoony teenagers on screen and swoony teenagers in the theatre may make me puke a little. :)

Oh, what a tease! LOL! Can't wait to see your husband gift!

Was Twilight appropriate for a "conservative" 15 year old girl. I would love to take Ashley if so...don't even know what it is rated! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! ~Rhonda :)

I am laughing...It's probably the same thing my hubby is making me! Could it be???
My hubby is making me a huge chalkboard to go in my kitchen (HUGE) Like as big as the wall!
Can't wait to see what your hubby is making you!

~The Robin's Nest~ said...

I see Lori posted below...Well she is the one that started the chalkboard deal for me. She posted the big chalkboard on her blog...I fell in love with it and wrote her and told her my husband is making me the chalkboard she showed on her blog... So then she writes me back a couple of days later and says she talked her husband into making her one too!
So Darlene...Are you getting a chalkboard or something else???~♥~

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
I'm asking for the Twilight books for Christmas since you're intrigued me so with them *smiles*
What is your mister making? Hmmm, long pieces of lumber... saw... some sort of Christmas decoration? Maybe an outdoor one? I stink at guessing games obviously, lol I'm just going to have to come back and see what it is I guess!
Have a wonderfully blessed (and warm) weekened!
