WOW...It is Already November!

I'm finding it hard to believe that Halloween has now passed, it is November, and we are heading quickly to Thanksgiving.
Our trees have on their beautiful leaf colors but are quickly dropping them.......soon the colored blanket will be on the ground.
It is beautiful in Oklahoma during this time of year.
And last, I finished New Moon and am on to the third book in the Twilight series ~ Eclipse.

Morning Darlene--We're enjoying a beautiful leaf change here in North Carolina. It's hard for me to believe Thanksgiving is just a few short weeks away.

Enjoy Eclipse!

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
Is that view from your home? Beautiful. The mountains here are lovely too, normally each year we take a drive up on the parkway for lots of oohs and awws plus pictures of course but been too busy around here. Gotta get that trip in soon or it'll be too late! Hope you have a wonderfully blessed week!

I love the fall color in your photos. Not quite like that here in Alabama, but getting close. Getting close. Almost time to put on the hiking boot, get the camera and throw the tripod over my shoulder and start out looking for places to shoot.

I was just writing a new post about Nov. & how quickly it got here. (I'm having problems loading my pics, though.)

I finally started my Twilight book yesterday & I'm half way through. I'm blogging & reading at the same time - it's so good.:)
Have a great Monday.

Beautiful trees:) Guess I never realized you were in Ok. My grandma was raised in an orphanage in Enid.
You have got me wanting to read those books so bad! I put the first one on hold at the library but have 8 other people ahead of me!! I'm trying to be patient:)

Darlene, we just arrived home from Fl. last evening and I have some catching up to do. I scrolled back a couple of posts to catch up and Lexi is the cutest little girl in all of her pics. The camera loves her and so do I. Her cheering leading costume is so 'mean' and cute. She has the poses all figured out. You better let her be a cheerleader in school. She would be great. I am glad you had a fun Halloween. It is shocking how fast time goes by. Thanksgiving then Christmas and kiss another year goodbye. I hope it is a good one.

Hugs...Jeanne

PS. I bought the quilt over 20 years ago and $75. was a fair price at the time. Now, forget about it.LOL

Those are really pretty pictures. I just love the colors of fall. There something about fall that just evokes certain feelings that I don't get any other time of the year.

Hi Darlene:
The color of the trees are beautiful. Our trees are just about bare, thanks to the wind the past few days.
Hard to believe the year is almost over, isn't it?

Those are such beautiful photos! The trees are lovely with all their colors. Our trees are still mostly green in Louisiana. We rarely get the pretty fall leaves; they are green one week and then the next week they're on the ground! That's our crazy weather for ya.

I've heard lots of talk about the books you're reading but I've not looked into them. What is the series about? I might have to check them out.

We are so enjoying this beautiful weather too!!!! Just one more reason to be glad that we made the move!!
Lexi looks so grown up in her Halloween costume.. it goes by so fast!!!!
Are the Twilight books good??? I have seen a lot of chatter about them on the blogs and also the movie previews. I will have to check them out!!!
Happy November!!

What pretty trees you have surrounding you in OK! I need to snap a pic of one of ours in particular. I caught the mailman stopping to take a photo of it with his cell phone camera. Pretty neato to see! Happy fall hun! Perfect days to snuggle up with a good book, hu? Les

our fall color has been gone for weeks so I enjoyed sharing yours! And I still have to read those books. Or so EVERYBODY keeps telling me.

We have evergreens in New Orleans. We don't see those fall colors. I remember the first time my parents took my brother and I on a fall vacation. I was glued to the window, looking at the trees and thinking it was magic!

Hi Darlene,
I love your photos...The same thing is happening here. Our Seattle rain is on it's way back into our lives-I wondered if it would ever get here! On our way back from Moms today we saw snow on the peak of the mountains on the pass-So beautiful.
Mom and I had a wonderful time sewing in between visiting the kids and grandsons! It was like a mini vacation! I think everyone should take one of these mini vacations right before these busy holidays hit! :)
Have a great week,
Robin~♥

I am almost done with New Moon! I am at the part in Italy where Bella "may" become a vampire- like it or not! It takes my mind off the election drama.:) I voted early, now I can just pray for the best! Lori

Hi! Just ran onto your blog from Ribbonwood Cottage. Love your blog! I think I read that you live in OK? Me too. I'm also captivated by the Twilight series. I'm just getting ready to finish New Moon, then I'll be on to Eclipse (tonight!)...I can't wait! I want it to last forever, but on the other hand I can't read fast enough!

Your pics are beautiful!

I'll be back to read again soon.

Your fall colors are so pretty. I am back at home now and see that I need to do some raking. But first I am going to browse blogs and do laundry and start to get my things back in order to be ready for work.
