My next award was from Wendy at The Shabby Nest. Thank you so much!
I'm supposed to add this text along with it...
“These blogs are exceedingly charming. These kind bloggers aim to find and befriends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope isthat when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships arepropagated. Please give more attention to these writers! Deliver this award toeight bloggers who must choose eight more and include this cleverly-written textinto the body of their award.”
Thank you every one that passed these along to me....they all have FABULOUS blogs and I hope you will go visit them. As I have done the past few times, if you come by to see me please feel free to take any or all of these tags and awards.

I thought it turned out pretty well. This was all free-handed. I just decided to paint some pumpkins. Not bad for a day of put~zing....cha cha cha (that is another one of her words I just love). So, what do you think of them?
Another blog I enjoy is Made With Love and Glue.....doesn't that just say it all?!? Anyway, Rachel had posted a meatloaf recipe her family loves, and with our weather very chilly right now, we just had to try it. Guess what.....it is DELICIOUS. Go here and try it for yourself. Oh, and I absolutely could not capture the picture of the meatloaf the way she did....when you see her picture you are gonna go ~ ooh la la ~ I must try it!!! Promise....now go see.....
Hope every one has a fabulous, fun weekend!!

Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the closest. Tag five other people to do the same.
- my home
- abuse or cruelty
The next award, Kreativ Blogger, was from Jenni at Nest to Keep. It says to list 6 things about yourself.
- I played the cello in the orchestra in school.
- I know how to square dance. I learned when my parents square danced and I got dragged all around to the dances. It truly used to be a huge party every Saturday night.
- I was bribed with a nickel at age 5 to learn how to water ski.
- I got my ears pierced at the age of 8 after tons of begging. My mom had to get hers pierced first to see what it was like.
- I have worn contacts since I was in the 5th grade. I absolutely hated my glasses and talked my mom into contacts.
- I am hooked on Desperate Housewives.
The next award is from Brandee at The Berry's Patch and she gave me the Blogging Friends Forever card. I'm telling you we have been friends since the very start of my blog. She came and gave me a sweet comment and we just feel like we have been friends forever. Thank you so much Brandee.
Last, but not least, is this beautiful fabulous fall decor award I received from Sue at The Cotton Patch. She is one of my newer blogging friends and I just love her blog and she comes over and visits me and leaves me the nicest comments.
Sorry I got so far behind on my awards and tags. I will do better in the future. I truly appreciate all of you that give me awards and tags and I LOVE all of your blogs. I am going to leave these for anyone to take. If I visit you, please come by and take any or all of the awards. Thank you so much everyone! Also, if you have given me an award in the last couple of weeks and it is not here please let me know. It seems like I have left one of them out......
One more thing......the book from the book tag is Northern Lights by Nora Roberts. I have not started it yet, but it looks good.
Remember to enter my giveaway here. I'll be drawing tonight and post it tomorrow!

Hooked on Phonics:
The five-year old students are learning to read.
Yesterday, one of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said, 'Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!'I took a deep breath, then asked...'What did you call it? It's a frickin' elephant! It says so on the picture!'
And so it does...
' A f r i c a n Elephant '
Hooked on phonics! Ain't it wonderful?
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are!..hehehe
Don't forget to go here and enter my giveaway....I'll announce the winner on Thursday!

A Ms. Gourd head lady and a bobble head Scarecrow man.
Two spiced mug mats (place warm tea or coffee mug on mat to release aromatic spice scent), two battery operated votive candle lights, Vanilla Mint sugarfree gum and a lightbulb of the Chocolate covered sunflower seeds....YUM!
Last, but not least, I made a Harvest Basket tassel. Actually I made two of these so the first person drawn will receive the big prize I have told you all about and the second name will receive a Harvest Basket tassel.
I sure had fun picking out these goodies and making the tassels. I look forward to the next 100 posts.

We filled them with various candy and put a tube of Chocolate covered Sunflower Seeds in each. They are delicious. We found them at Walgreens and the manager there said they get them for each holiday in different colors. The Christmas ones in red and green would make great stocking stuffers.
We tied them up and added a little tag that says "No tricks, Just Treats!!!" They turned out so cute and mom said everyone LOVED them. I am going to make some more for Lexi's teacher and special activities teachers. Remember, you can always enlarge my pictures for a better look.
Guess what Monday will be???? My 100th post so stop back by to enter a giveaway. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend.
