A Fun Little Container...

My parents came in this past weekend and my mom mentioned she needed a little container to send some Valentine swap presents to some friends on a toy poodle forum that she belongs to. While we were at Hobby Lobby she saw some little Christmas buckets for 90% off which made them 20 cents each. (Can you believe I forgot to take a before picture?!?!?!) Anyway, we (I) spray painted them red and added this little wooden heart on top. I also glittered the middle red heart. We thought they turned out cute.
She is using some gift shred in them along with the little treasures she is sending out. I just have some of my table scatters, which are hearts, in the one little bucket. They almost look like little cupcakes under this pedestal/cloche on my table.
Next week I'll show you my Valentine decorations and a new DVD storage cabinet. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend.

Darlene, how cute! Boy, I can see that these weren't easy to spray paint, esp. with our winds. They do look like cupcakes. I love them.

Your table decorations are cute. Can't wait to see the rest of your Valentine decorations. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Hi Darlene, your little buckets for you mom's project turned out so pretty. The cloche contents look good enough to eat. I wish my mom was still here as we did fun things like that together all the time. Usually with all of my sisters. I don't think one ever stops missing their mom.

I am fine and enjoying some computer time. I am also still taking down Christmas. My sister was here this morning to help me. I left it up for my grands. It all looks so yucky right now. LOL.

Hugs...Jeanne

Thanks for your kind words. I felt bad complaining about not being able to build our new dream house when I started thinking about so many people losing their homes. I am grateful today and was happy to get the proceed check from the sale of our 1 1/2 acre lot today. God is Good & I Trust Him!

Have a Super Weekend!

Before I put my foot in my mouth...I just ran into a friend that I had not seen for about a year..I did not even recognize her...I thought she was a teenager..because she cut her hair and added bangs. I have not had bangs since the 9th grade....

I love these. Last year I found the cutest little oval boxes with lids at the Dollar Store. They had little windows of cellophane in them on one side and writing on the little windows with Valentine phrases.

Sorry I have not been by to comment sooner, I have been under the weather.

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
Sweet sweet buckets! Don't you just love those projects that are simple, fast to finish and ober cheap? I know I do! And of course yours turned out so cute! As always! I had this plan of making a Valentines wreath, that's as far as I've gotten, just thinking it *smiles* But you'd be proud to know I've logged 5 days in a row on my treadmill *smiles*
