Tornado In The Sky?

It's another Blue Monday. Be sure to visit Sally of Smiling Sally for more Blue Monday posts.

The other morning Lexi walked out the door and yelled "Mom, there is a tornado in the sky"! Well, when you live in Oklahoma, also known as tornado alley, that can strike terror in your heart. But, this was a beautiful, though cold day, so I looked up to the sky to see what she was talking about. Isn't it beautiful? And yes, it is a tornado in the sky!
Hope you all are having a wonderful Monday!

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
I know what you mean about it striking terror in your heart because I grew up in Kansas so we midwesterner girls take our weather seriously *smiles* So glad it just turned out to be a very cool looking cloud formation!
Have a wonderfully blessed day!

But that is a great photo...happy that it was just the clouds posing for you!

Good Morning Darlene ~

Love that photo...you know...some folks think that it is scary living in earthquake country like I do...but I think it is much more unnerving to live with the possibility of tornadoes.

I love the pics of the cool vintage goodies from your work...eye candy for sure.

Happy Monday!

Darlene- Oh my goodness! Did this scare you or was it too far up in the sky to really matter? We get tornadoes here too, but I have never seen one up close. I hope I never do! Ack! Lori

That would make your heart skip a beat or twenty. We live in an area that is tornado alley too. A year ago this month we had a night that brought 28 tornadoes and 2 people were killed less than 5 miles away. And several homes were blown up. I'm glad it was just a tornado in the sky for you.

Hi Darlene,
Thanks for stopping by my place a couple of days ago. I wanted to let you know that I wish I had the time to make things to sell, but alas...real life! However, I went on Etsy to see if anyone was selling something similar and here you go: katydiddy.etsy.com Hers is very cute and only $5.00. But if you want to tackle one yourself, all I did was cover a box I had with scrap paper, make the accorian circle out of paper, stuck a cake decorating ballerina in the middle and added some glitter.
Also,I LOVED the photos of your sweet Lexie's half-time show. She is amazing. AND... your three new snowmen and glitterhouse are all beautiful!!! WOW! Lucky you. : )
Have a good day.

Hi Darlene
Yikes it does look like a tornado doesn't it? I'm glad it isn't tornado season. Do you get them in your area? A bit scarey....
Its a great picture you captured it so well. What did we ever do without digitals.

Well I made it to the license bureau and renewed my car plate sticker. I was so self conscious about it all the drive just hoping I'd be ok. I was sure they were going to be everywhere and scouring the plates..*lol*.

Hope you've had a great day

Omighosh...that reeks of Wizard of Oz! Rofl. I instantly thought of that.....kinda cool....as long as it does not grow and come your way.

That is way cool! I have never experienced a Tornado. I don't think I would like them very much.

I have had my share of earthquakes, and fires though growing up in Southern CA.

Just wanted to let you know I I have tagged you.

I think tornados would scare me! I have been in a couple of hurricanes that caused little damage.

Your picture is very nice!

I agree with you about the start of book two. I was a bit let down at the pace of the story but it did pick up and I couldn't put it down.

take care,
Dawn

Wow! That's kind of creepy! But of course, being from the south... I'm pretty jumpy about that stuff too! :)

Christina said...

We get tornadoes here too, but certainly not like y'all do in tornado alley. At least it was just a neat looking cloud and not any danger.

Lexi looks like she has so much fun doing her jump rope routines. I'm sure y'all are very proud of her.
