The Host by Stephenie Meyer

Robin of The Robin's Nest is starting an online book club. The first book is The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I enjoyed her Twilight series tremendously, so I am excited to read this book and I bought mine yesterday. If you would like to join in on the book club go here and sign up. We will start reading in March and she will have more details as she works them out.
Hope you all are having a great Thursday.

Hi Darlene. How are things going? I hope settling down and getting cleaned up in your town. I've never read Meyer but will definitely look into it. I have a book going all the time and enjoy reading. Have a great day.

Hey, Darlene! Thanks so much for bringing this up. This is the next book on my shelf to read! :) I'm just finishing up the Gemma Doyle series by Libba Bray. I've already bought the Host. Going over to sign up. :)

Hope you have a great Thursday!

Thanks for posting this Darlene~♥

We are in the process of thinking of a name for the book club blog...
We know we want the word "sisterhood" in the title...
So far we have"
Sisterhood of the page turners
or
Sistrhood of the Lit lovers...

I don't know???? Do you have any ideas?
Robin~♥

I hope it's good. I love the other series, as well, but heard this one is very different. Keep us posted!

As much as I'd like to, I just haven't had time lately to do much reading. I hope the book club goes well for y'all though.

I am in a book club with some girls from church and it is so fun. I have been curious about this book so let us know how you like it! I've heard mixed reviews so that always makes me more curious. :)

I got my med bird cloche in and I LOVE it!! I'm so glad you posted about those with the sale code. When I find the perfect spot for it I'll post about it and give you a shout out. :)

I have the book and I'm excited to read it, but I don't have time just yet. I have to work on this course I'm taking and I want to read the book when I can savor every moment of it.

take care,
Dawn

I hope you post your thoughts on the book when you are finished. I've been thinking about reading it but it doesn't sound like something I'd enjoy. Of course that's what I thought about the Twilight series too and I love those books!

Have a great weekend!

I would like to read your views on the book. It kinda sounds like a dark story.

I belong to a book club and I love it. It keeps me reading and not blogging all the time! :)

Hi Darlene! I just wanted to come by and say thank you! Your comment was very heartfelt and I thank you! Take care...oh I wish I had time to read~
Ps...kitty update. I had to put Mr. Kitty outside to stay. He kept pooping in my bathroom sink. Gross...I know. Im not sure why he was doing it with his litter box so handy. I just couldn't deal with that so he is now an outside kitty. Ugh!

Hi Darlene, sorry about your computer problems. I hate that. The book club sounds like fun but I have so many books on my list to read. I would be stressing if I added any more right now.

Have a wonderful Sunday.

Hugs...Jeanne

Hey Darlene,

I thought this was a good book but not as good as the Twilight series. I could totally see this book becoming a movie. Hope you get your computer up and running soon. :-)
