More Show Choir....

Here is the Show Choir patiently waiting for their turn to perform again....this time right down the street from the park at Earth Day. The stage.....a parking lot!
Several of you asked about their performance. They did two songs. We Go Together and Born to Hand Jive from Grease. About two weeks ago the music teacher decided they needed to dress 50's instead of wearing their show choir tees. For the girls she would like poodle skirts or capris, white button down tops and scarves in their hair. We went with the latter since there are only about six performances and I wasn't going to spend the money to get a custom poodle skirt....to bad I can't just sew one up!!

They all had a great time and did a great job.

We are having gorgeous weather here.....now don't be too jealous!!!

Great pictures. It sounds like a really good school. Most don't even mess with the lower grades until the Christmas program and K and 6 grade graduation. I know Lexi had a ball and will always remember the performances.

I love the way they're all dressed! So cute!

We're having amazing weather here, too! Now, if I can just be brave enough to expose my white legs in a pair of shorts, I'd be set! :)

Don't forget about my giveaway today!

Hi Darlene
I have enjoyed catching up with your blog now we are home. Lexi's Show Choir performances look great and very professional. Stella looks to have had a great time with you both over the Easter Break. I love how she went to the Easter egg hunt and did the tie dyeing with Lexi. The Oklahoma pin was a great idea and a wonderful reminder of her stay with you. Thanks for being a wonderful host.

LOL Okay, I won't be jealous of your weather. lol

These kids have so much fun doing things like this, and as a former debate teacher, I know how much work goes into any kind of a field trip. So hats off to the teacher.

I LOVE your header. What type of flowers are they? Just so beautiful.

Well that Lexi is talented. ARen't you just so proud of her? It looks like they and you had great fun watching the performance.

Thank you for the well wishes for my mother. She seems to be having a good day after the procedure. She had a bunion removed.

How is your mother? Have they found out what it causing the fever?

I hope you have a lovely day...and that your mom is well..*Hugs*

Hi Darlene, the Show Choir must have a blast performing for people. The 50's look is so cute. Our weather is outstanding. Yesterday we saw a rainbow so 'close' it ended in the pasture as we passed by. The colors were vibrantly amazing. Alas! no camera. And me a blogger of all things. The rainbow on my header was just like that when that photo of our view was taken. Such is life. Sigh.

Hugs...Jeanne

They are so cute. I can't stand it : ). What a fun thing to participate in. Kaishon loves to sing but there aren't really any outlets around here where he can sing.

I love how they all look-I think I'd had rather wore the jeans then the dress, so much more comfy! Lexi looks adorable as always!

It is hard to get costumes for these things. Fortunately I was able to make a lot of my kids costumes for shows and such.
