Quiet Mornings....

I wanted to thank you all for the prayers for my Mom. She is still sick and running a temperature of between 101 and 102 and feeling miserable. They have run blood tests and nothing is coming back as a cause. She does go to a different Doctor today, so hopefully they can figure out what is wrong.

I wanted to show you my little rooster kitchen lamp. Each morning when I take the dogs out I have my little lamp glow. It just makes me happy in the early, quiet morning.
I hope you all have a great weekend. We are going to Kids Day in the Park and Earth Day. Lexi has two performances with her Show Choir at the functions. Hope to show you some pictures on Monday.

Oh Darlene, I'm so sorry to hear that your mom still isn't feeling well. That's a high temperature for her to be running. I hope the doctors can find the cause and the cure soon.

oh Darlene, I am sorry she is still not doing well. Don't let them tell you they don't know. I had a friend who had a similar thing, it ended up being a dental infection she wasn't aware of. I hope they figure it out!

Hi Darlene--prayers for your mom!

Love your little lamp...and it's meaning. The small guideposts in life are the best. There is a little path in our yard that Oliver travels...and I smile when I see it.
It makes me warm and happy like your little lamp.

Thanks for sharing.

I'm so sorry to hear that your mom is still sick. I know there is a nasty virus going around right now that seems to take forever to get over. I hope the new dr. can figure it out.
I saw that Rooster lamp when I was in Vegas last month, at Home Goods. My sister-in-law had it in her cart, but then thought it might be hard to ship back home.
It is cute!!

Have fun at your shows Lexi! You go girl!
And I love your rooster lamp. I am a huge lamp lover. I bought those Christmas tree light clickers to plug some in to so I can just click the switch and voila~ the lamps behind my couch come on w/o me having to fight to get back there to them and another click and voila the lamps in my dining room go on...all from one little keychain type clicker!
Happy weekend and prayers for your Moms health...xo Les

Hi there Darlene ~
My thoughts and prayers go out to your Mom. I hope that she is feeling better soon. Here is a prayer I sent to a dear friend who was recently ill. I hope that is give comfort.
"Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do,everywhere you go;
He's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all. Run to God!
Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!"

~ Proverbs 3 ~

God speed in her recovery.

Love the lamp and it's gentle glow.

Smiles ~ Ramona

I'm sorry that your Mom still isn't well. I hope they will be able to find the cause---and soon!

I love lamplight too. What a pretty lamp. Love your flag from Rambling girl too.

The kittens are doing great. The mommy decided to move them to my neighbors porch. I kinda miss them, but it solved the problem of me having to get rid of them. I did find one of them a home as soon as they are weaned.
