The Rock Wall....

After the Saturday Show Choir performance, Lexi changed and did one of her favorite things......she climbed the rock wall. Here she is getting strapped into the belt.
Almost there.......
She made it to the top and rang the buzzer. She does it every year!
Back down to the ground.
Hope you are all having a fabulous Thursday.♥

We have a fitness center with a big climbing and bouldering wall in our town and a few years ago two of my kids spent a lot of time there climbing. Some of the routes to the top were very difficult and it was amazing to watch them make the climbs.

Hey there Darlene ~
I have been so busy with my daughter's middle school musical prep that I have been missing from blogland....I am soooo glad to hear that your Mom is feeling better...that is such a relief! I will continue to pray for her strength and some rest and relaxation for you and your family. Life is so precious.

Have a great rest of the week and weekend. AND, great pictures of your daughter rock climbling.

Kids have so much fun on those things don't they? Good for Lexi. I don't like heights so its not something I would do.
Have you climbed the wall. We have one at work for school groups and the kids love it.
hope you have a great Friday and enjoy your weather.
We're actually in for temps that could be around 80 also. We shall see how hi it goes.. Can't wait.

Looks like she had lots of fun. I'm terrified of heights, but it is always fun to watch someone else climbing a rock wall.

Got caught up over here. Always so much fun. The show performance looked adorable. Lexi's going to have to have to write a book one day about all her amazing childhood experiences. Tell her, "great job" on the rock wall. My kids have done that in the past and love it!
Glad your mom finally got some relief. I'll pray that she continues to mend.

Diane,

I'm so sorry about your Mother. I hope the diagnosis and treatment begins to help. I know how scary it can be for the family and the patient.

Lexie sure has been busy.

Diane thanks for all you notes and prayers.

Hugs,

Gretchen

Still trying to catch up on your blog. Computer gives me hassles sometimes when browsing blogs and I have to shut down and start up the computer again. Sure cuts into my blogging time when that happens. Anyway, the rock wall looks like fun. Don't think I have the strength to do that. But my daughter did it as part of counselor training at the summer camps she worked at in college. Only it was real in nature rock walls, like climbing huge boulders. Of course they have all the ropes and stuff.
