Tucker Tower Nature Center.....

The next day we went to Tucker Tower Nature Center. Remember the tank top and shorts yesterday? Now look, layered in clothes because the high is in the 40's with the wind blowing ridiculously hard. There is a long walk up to the tower.
Here is the caretakers home.
The fish of Lake Murray.
Displays of insects and butterflies.
History and tools used when building the Lake Murray area.
Going up into the tower this is out the first landing. She was looking over at the Marina.
This is the winding stairway that goes up to the very top. We put Stella back in her "safe" bag just so she wouldn't blow away when we went out.
At the top! Lexi felt like she was going to blow away so we didn't stay out long at all.
Hope you are all having a great Wednesday. We have been having a great time with Stella.

Just beautiful! Yes, quite a change in the temp. Can you believe 80s today? Stella is having a ball with you all. Take care and enjoy this weather.

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
Sorry I missed a couple of days worth of your posts, work interferring with my life *sigh* I just went back and read them all *smiles* Looks like Lexi and you are having a great time with Stella despite the weather! Can you believe all the changes we've been having? Rainy, Windy, Snowy, Sunny... we're in a windy cold snap here right now. So disappointing after one beautiful weekend but in the South sticky hot humid weather will be here in a blink of an eye so I shouldn't complain *smiles* Hope y'all have a wonderful Wednesday!

That blue water looks more like the Caribbean than Lake Murray! What a pretty day. That would make a great little day trip for us some day.

Every year, the first trip we take to Lake Murray, we have to take all the kids up to Tucker Tower (even the 28 yr old "kid"). It's become a tradition of sorts; we haven't been yet this year, I'm looking forward to it, though!

I DID notice that tank top and shorts yesterday. We're having some moody spring weather in Idaho too. Although no shorts wearing temps yet.
