I put my hummingbird feeder up a little over a week ago, and no sign of them. I was beginning to get discouraged. However, after I ran some errands on Saturday, I came home to find one of my little friends eating...I was so thrilled! I could watch them all day long! I LOVE your picture!

I haven't seen mine yet! Such a beautiful sight!

Darlene, I just realized how long it has been since I visited you. I missed the previous posts and I adore your Lexie in both of them. she is adorable and I know how proud you are. The lawn mower looks mighty big and scary to me. I'm such a grandma!
Her school awards are awesome. The fitness award is something to be really proud of these days. So many kids just aren't out there doing things. Way to go Lexi!!

Your new hummingbird feeder is gorgeous. it makes me want to find a new one now. I did buy a pretty one and my hummers prefer the old one. Your new header is pretty too. You are all dressed up for summer.

Have a happy day.

Hugs...Jeanne

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
What a beautiful feeder! I love that whole basketweave effect around the bottom of it. We just have the ho-hum nothing special model that The Girl hung a few weeks ago. I haven't noticed a hummingbird yet but it's empty so something has been feeding, lol Great picture! Love it!

I do love to bird watch - especially those cute & curious hummingbirds.
Great picture.
Enjoy your Monday.

Oh, yes, I need to dig mine out. My mother in law usually puts out about 10 or so feeders and has hundreds of hummers!! It's amazing!

Great picture - I love hummingbirds, but when I put the feeder out, they will accidentally fly into the garage and then they can't figure out how to fly out. I have to get a ladder out and open windows, etc. so it's almost not worth the stress for both of us!

Such a fabulous photo Darlene! The hummingbirds are fascinating to watch! It didn't take them long to find your feeder :-)

That is soooo coool Darlene! I bet Lexi is just loving them! That is a great shot!

They love sticks big time so if you put a thin stick in a planter by the feeder they will perch on it!

Have a great week Darlene,

Robin~♥

Oh I love to watch those birds! They have been coming around for the last month or so now. I have so many different birdhouses all over my yard. I think I need to make some pics of all of them and share.

I just KNEW you would have a Southern accent!!!!!!
(I'm just over from Lori's blog where I chuckled at your southern hick comment) You are too cute. I thought Lori had a "little" southern bell accent going the couple of times I have talked to her on the phone... It would only take a day around you guys and I'd be talking southern myself-I just know it!
Ya'll have a great week now ya hear? ;)

I have tried to get hummingbirds to come to our yard, but I think they hate me. I can get noisy birds and squirrels, no problem, but not hummingbirds. It figures the hummingbirds would love you. You're really Snow White, aren't you?
