Lexi About Had a Fit.......

when we saw these two identical semi's as I was taking her to dance on Monday night. They obviously are the road crew for Taylor Swift.....her favorite singer right now. They were both parked, and I am sure were eating in one of our "famous" places called Two Frogs Grill which in this picture is to the left of Applebees.
If you are going to see any celebrity in our town it would be there. The owner promotes concerts in our area and has gotten in groups such as Lynyrd Skynard, Willy Nelson, Ted Nugent, Rick Springfield and Styx (to name a few). Ones that were popular "back in the day" if you like rock or country. His walls are covered with signed guitars and pictures and memorabilia. He also has a small stage for local groups to perform on the weekends.
Anyway, Lexi was pretty sure Taylor Swift was in Two Frogs Grill singing....lol. NOT!! I came home and looked up her tour dates to see where her equipment was heading. On May 2, she had a show in Biloxi, Miss. and her next show date is on May 14 in Spokane, Washington. I told Lexi she had probably flown home to get a few days of rest and relaxation since there is such a span between these concert dates.
Anyway, it was fun to see these semi's rolling through our little town and what excitement!
Hope you all are having a wonderful day today.

That is neat and not something you see every day. They sure have a lot of equipment for a concert. You don't even think about all the people that employs!

My 20 yr old daughter is trying to learn to play a Taylor Swift song on the guitar. It will be the first song she has ever played on a guitar. She is teaching herself the guitar.

I would have been excited too! Taylor is awesome! It's funny what something like that does to a small town. We don't see much, so very little can generate a lot of excitement. LOL.

Hope you're having a great week!

Lexi must have been so excited at the thought of Taylor Swift being so close to her town! I know how crazy I would have been if I had seen something like that with John Denver's picture when I was her age.

take care,

How exciting for Lexi to see the trucks. I can remember years ago seeing Willie Nelson's big tour bus while we were traveling. I knew he was on that bus!!! We were all heading to Vegas.

Hey, I've eaten at Two Frogs, and many other places there! I like camping, but sometimes we gotta go into town, so we always eat while we're there. (I don't go camping for the cooking experience)

Good Evening Miz Darlene,
OK, Taylor who? I'm sorry but I don't follow a lot of contemporary music so I wouldn't know who this person was if I walked smack into them *smiles* But I think it's pretty cool and exciting for Lexi to see the trucks hauling all the show stuff especially since it's someone she likes a lot.

It sure would excite some cute kids I know!
Our 13 year old niece, Miss P Mc Call lives with us and she plays Taylor Swift all the time. When her sister lived with us and worked for Red Robbin often she was told whe looked she like her.... That always made her feel good!:)
I am glad Lexi got to see the trucks...they are pretty trucks!
Happy Mothers' day!
