"I Love Summer" Party......

is being hosted by Darlene at Our Creative Life. Show us some summertime things you love and link up. This is one of my favorite spots. Swinging on my back porch swing, reading magazines and sipping my peach tea out of a mason jar.....ahhhh summer! If you get a little chilly sitting out at night, enjoy a lightweight quilt.
How about joining me for a cool dip in the pool. Nothing better on a hot, summer day! I have some colorful beach towels and mats just waiting on you!
Another summer past time is watching Lexi play ball. There is nothing more exciting than rooting your team on! Lexi is on 2nd base getting ready to steal to 3rd. She made it!!
Come on, get some pictures together and link up at Darlene's for her I Love Summer party!

Hey, Darlene, yep all of these things say summer, don't they? And I'm glad to see you have a swing too. I think everyone should have one!

I want to enjoy spring just a bit longer before I do summer, but this is all tempting.

Great post! I'm gonna have to make some peach tea today. Why is it that it tastes so good out of a mason jar?

Good morning Darlene, We are just getting up here and it is much later where you live. a two hour time change is quite an adjustment.

Thank you for your many visits and comments. I appreciate it so much. I have had fun posting but time for visiting is another story. We are enjoy our trip so much.

Your post today is a big smile on my face. Summer fun and things you love just go together. Your pool does look inviting. We had a pool for many years in Florida for our children and Bill and I loved to swim at night. I love peach tea too.

Time to fix coffee now. I love to have a coffee pot in our motel rooms. See you again soon.

Hugs...Jeanne

Can I bring my Water Noodle to your pool? I have one for you and Lexi, too. They're PINK of course! :)

I love your swing--I wish I had one on my porch....maybe I'll put that on my birthday list!

Lexi is so cute at the ball field. She just has to be one of the most well rounded kids ever! She participates in so many great activities and seems to love them all!

I did not know there were "manufactured" tornado shelters like the one your folks had installed in their yard!! It's a throw back to the old Cellars we used to have before basements became commonplace. Do you have a basement or a storm shelter at your house? That was interesting, Darlene, to see how close that truck was able to be to the house!!

We're gonna have storms this afternoon. We need the rain, but not the bad stuff!!!

Have a great week! L, Dana

I could use a cool dip in a pool right now! It's soo hot here I can't believe it's June - it feels like August! Love the swing - I've been looking for one. Nothing says summer to me like swinging on a porch swing!

Three of the things I like best about summer: porch swings, iced tea, and "play ball"! You've got all that and more.

Another fun blog party that's going on right now is Rhondi's Porch party. She's over at Rose Colored Glasses. There are some beautiful porches goin' on over there.

Baseball and swimming...no summer is complete without them. And now if the weather would warm up enough for me to use the pool I'd be happy.....70 degree water is just NOT doing it for me!
