Softball Day Camp....

Since Lexi has been out of school she has done a couple of fun things. The first thing was a six hour softball camp. It is for girls in grades 1 - 8 and the high school coaches and girls softball team coach them through a lot of activities as running, hitting, throwing, etc. (they are grouped and worked with on age appropriate abilities). It was a hot, hot day. I just got there at the end and took a few pictures. You can see two medals around Lexi's neck (she is on the far left as you are looking at the picture). She won them for running the bases the fastest and hitting the farthest.

She was hot and worn out and still that night had her own ball team practice from 6:00 - 7:30.
She is in the #12 tee shirt. Go Lady Horns!

I predict that Lexi will make the ball team when she is old enough and be in this dugout!

Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday. On Wednesday I'll show you the next camp she attended.

Busy, busy days! It's so odd when they get older like my boys. Tanner will be going to theater camp at OCU for three weeks! Spencer is working and taking classes at UCO. Our days are definitely different.

Fun times for the summer. After all these years, it still seems strange to not be doing things with the kids during the summer. The last summer I had anyone home was in 2002. Wow, it has been 7 years. I almost forget what life was like then.

That's great for Lexi! Great way to start summer! I just dropped my daughter off at church camp so today. She has been counting down the days for the past month so I know she is thrilled she is finally at camp. Tomorrow I'm hosting a "I Love Summer" linky party. Please come participate and spread the word.

Take Care
Darlene
