Frontier City.....

Lots of pictures!!!! On Wednesday we went to Frontier City. Lexi got to take a friend to ride on the rides with her. I can ride a few, but not many anymore. Hubby gets sick on almost everything.
The log ride. Always fun!

I rode this one. It took you way up high and dropped you! FUN!!

It is really pretty throughout the park and set up like an old time town.
This one I rode also. It was like a slingshot and you went from the ground WAY high up in the air and "boinged" around a few times. I LOVED it!
The Mindbender. The girls were scared to ride it but finally did. Then they rode it several times.
Yep, it goes all the way around and hangs upside down a couple of times. No way for me!!!
One of the fast roller coasters with an upside down loop. They went on it over and over.
They also had a ball riding the bumper cars.
Amusement parks always have great shows. This one was Survivor Live and the dancers were great!
We had a great time in the park. The temp. was high 80's to low 90's with a breeze all day and was very pleasant. We ended up in the park for about 9 hours. This is a smaller park with GREAT rides. None of us had ever been there before and we loved it. I have a bunch more pictures, so when I have nothing to post, I'll post some more pictures.

Good Morning Miz Darlene,
What is summer without a visit to an amusement park?!?! Looks like Lexi was having a great time! You are far braver than me because there's no way I would have gotten on that bungee like ride *smiles* The roller coasters are my favorite rides.

Oh my goodness...just one of the girls!!! Way to go! I've never heard of Frontier City before. Is it anywhere near Silver Dollar City? I've been there once. That's SO great that you let Lexi bring a friend along. My parents did that alot too when it was just me and my brother Steve, left at home. We each got to bring our best friend along on outings. That way, Steve and I didn't fight. : )
Darlene, I just put some more 'same-old, same-old' in today, with one exception, so I didn't want to bother you.
Have a great weekend. I know you always do with your cute Lexi around!

Oh it looks like great fun. I used to love to go on rides like these, but now, I stay on the solid ground.

We took our children to Frontier City when they were small, and I have old movies of that day.

That looks like so much fun. I need to remember this for the grandsons. I'm so glad you are having a fun vacation and great temperatures. You know, there are lots of fun things in our area. I just didn't think about them until your posts. Have fun. ps. Nicky is still improving. We are amazing the vet.

Frontier City looks like a fun place for the entire family! I can't believe you got on that slingshot thing! Darlene, what are you thinking, my friend? No way would I get on something that could, literally, shoot me to the moon! You are one brave soul!

Looks like y'all are having a great summer. Love the log ride. One of my favorites. I realized the last time I went to an amusement park, that I am getting too old for rides.

That looks like so much fun! I love riding all those rides, but I am like your husband, I get sick on it all! I take motion sickness pills with me and have to take them so I can enjoy it all!

I used to take my kids to Frontier City every summer and they loved every single visit. Many years ago when my son was about 6 or 7 years old were were talking about what he'd be or where he'd live when he was an adult. For years he said he was going to live in Frontier City because he loved that town. Funny...

When my kids were younger, they would have loved to go there. Now, not so much ...

Looked like you had fun !!!

Now that looks like fun. I would have wanted to ride on the same rides Lexie did, screaming all the way.

Hi Darlene, I do believe I heard you squeal. Thank you for you great comment. I laughed and my excitement for getting a new baby poodle is stronger than it was. Laughing. We are just a couple of poodle lovers aren't we?
Your visit to Frontier City sounds and looks like a blast. What is better than a theme park for lots of fun. We always enjoyed taking ours many times. They always talked me into a roller coaster ride. I never felt good afterward. I went though.

Have a wonderful day.

Hugs...Jeanne

My kids love Frontier City, but we don't get to go very often. To far to drive and not enough time to ride all the rides for just a day trip. When they do the church day there the kids always ask to go but soccer or something always comes up where they don't get to go.
You guys look like you had alot of fun. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Darlene,

It's always nice when the kids take a friend so you don't have to go on all the rides with them!
The only one I don't like it the one that you stand in a circle and it spins. I was born and raised in California and my Grandpa helped build Disneyland so roller coasters are in our blood!
I'm surprised you like the ones that drop.. You should try skydiving it gives you the same feeling but from much higher up (nothing more exciting and beautiful)

It sure looks like you guys had a great time! I'm glad you are getting some down time to enjoy your summer.

Robin~♥
I Love your header photo!

Okay some of those rides are a little to freaky for me. My daughter would go on all of them but not ME!
Looks like a blast.. :)

I would be sitting on the sidelines with Alan. I don't do rides anymore. Although that log ride looks fun.
You are brave!!

What fun! That is so neat how it is set up like "old times". :) It reminds me of Silver Dollar City in Branson. I went there a lot when I was younger!

Classic summer fun Darlene--I can't go on too many of the rides either, but it's great to see the kids having a blast!
