More From Bricktown.....

Here are some more pictures from the Bricktown area of Oklahoma City right around the ballpark. There is a big canal and they give water taxi rides. It is really pretty around the canal. I am hoping to go back when it is cooler and explore some of the areas more.
Aren't these scenes on the brick beautiful? Remember, you can click on any of the pictures to enlarge and see all the detail.
Look at this paint splattered buffalo.....quite interesting!
This is a big mural painted across several billboards. It is soooo pretty.
We didn't get to eat here on the last trip, but if you are ever in the Bricktown area it is a fun place with good food. Also, you might get to see Toby Keith. I have heard he is there quite a bit.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful "hump" day!!!

Bricktown sound like such a fun and interesting place. I need to check into that. It is such a long drive from here though. How are you liking the weather? It sure was pretty yesterday. I got some rods and rings for my drop cloth drapes. Keep your fingers crossed that they work out. Enjoy the day!

Ahhhhh....I've missed stopping in here, but have had to spend all my time in the studio these days.

The real 'beauty' of those gorgeous mosaics are the two ladies I see standing in front of them!!

Looks like fun. I would LOVE to run into Toby Kieth...we have seen him in concert a few times. He is so awesome...he does free USO concerts and we saw 2 of them in Germany and Steve has seen him in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I've never been there! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I went once on a water taxi while in DC and it was so much fun! I wish we had those in New Orleans!

Speaking of Toby Keith, they had to cancel his concert here Thursday because it was at an outdoor ampitheater and we had tornadoes come through that afternoon! Was it bad where y'all are?
