A Blue Feeder....

Be sure to visit Sally at Smiling Sally for all the other Blue Monday participants. This is a new feeder I got and filled with black oil sunflower seeds. It has attracted little Chickadees and Titmouse birds that are so much fun to watch.
They hang all over the cage and try to get those seeds from every angle.

One more picture from Friday night. It was starting to sprinkle (just a tad) and our little next door neighbor came over to see if Lexi would come and play with him. See his blue shorts?....lol. Actually, later that night it started raining and rained all weekend long, on and off. On Saturday we received about 2 1/2 inches of rain and it just drizzled all day Sunday but kept the temperature to about 73. How delightful!!!

Hope you are having a great blue Monday. On Wednesday, I'll show you Lexi's first football game cheerleading pictures.

I'm glad you all got to have the game. I'm looking forward to the pix. That feeder is so pretty. I love those Titmouse birds. So cute and they are so sweet. We too have them and lots of chickadees and cardinals. At times we have purple and gold finches. The purple ones are really orange. Ha It rained and rained. We have shed debris and yardsale things in the yard so I bet our grass is gone and our good stuff ruined. Don't know when we will get things hauled off because of the mud where we take it. But the shed is in the dry--not done but things inside are dry. Take care and stay dry.

I love watching birds. They are so beautiful! In the evenings we have a huge flock of birds that land in our yard. I have no idea what they are looking for, but they keep coming back. The cats LOVE to watch them. Sometimes they even chatter at the birds, which just cracks me up. :)

I have a very similar feeder and enjoy it so much Darlene. It's so much fun to watch the birds, isn't it. We have lots of squirrels to unfortunately who will hog all the seed if they can.

Hi Darlene, we bought some of those black oil sunflower seeds and I wasn't sure what kind of birds would eat them. I love the net thingy. Did you buy it? We put them in a flat bird feeder. Lots of morning Doves have gathered around. I have found that birds leave big messes on my deck. I still love feeding them though.

I am glad you had lots of rain and it brought the cooler weather. The photo of Lexi and her little friend is cute with the umbrella.

I am looking forward to Lexi's cheer leading pics.

Hugs...Jeanne
