A Blizzard Warning and Merry Christmas!!!

At 5:00 p.m. we have 6 inches of snow and it is STILL coming down.
At 4:00 p.m. we have 3 inches of snow and it is still coming down hard.
I added these two top photos in at about 2:45 p.m. Christmas Eve. The snow is starting to fall more than the sleet and it is quickly covering everything. We are going to have a WHITE Christmas in Southern Oklahoma!!!!!

Hi everyone!!! We have had a Christmas Eve brunch. My parents did a fantastic job and I'll share the menu at a later date.
A bit of posing in front of their tree.
YIKES.....Carter is our county. Do you see what it says???? A BLIZZARD WARNING!!!!!!!!
It has been pouring sleet and we are expected to get anywhere from 2" to 8" of snow in our area. Bring it on!!!!!!
Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Santa brings you everything you want!♥

White Christmas for sure...but sure does change lots of peoples plans...with this weather here in central Oklahoma all our plans have either been cancelled or shoved back a day or so. On the bright side we can use the moisture.

Well, Darlene, it's STILL snowing in KC! We got at least 8 inches in our area....with lots of high winds causing major drifting. We had the rain and the sleet first, too, on Christmas Eve....with snow starting around 5:00. We made it to Christmas Eve services, then on to my BIL'S home.....and back around 10:00 that night. Very scary. Our daughter and my grand dog had spent the night with us. When we woke up to lots of snow, we decided to hold off on going across town to our son's home. We got there around 4:30, but the roads were still bad. By the time we left at 8:45, the highways were icing over...there were lots of wrecks. We finally got off the highway and took the snow packed side streets home....longer, but safer trip!

It's so nice to be inside today...watching the snow and being able to spend time visiting my favorite YOU!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, Darlene! Your Christmasy photos are wonderful.

L, dana

Hi Darlene, I tried to post yesterday and google was acting up on me! Merry Christmas....I was amazed at your pictures. I had watched the weather channel and knew you were in the middle of a huge snow storm! Wow! I know you had a great White Christmas! I had to laugh it was 70 degrees here and I was longing for snow. Anyhow;..hope your time with Lexi and your family was good. Ours was wonderful with the kids! Talk to you soon

Hello Darlene, a white Christmas, how exciting. I know Lexi was so excited. You should have taken a photo of Lexi's snowman on the ground. When snow is powder it won't pack. I bet it was cute.

I love the photos, you look happy and pretty and Lexi looks so cute in her coat all snug and warm. I know being with your parents was a special day.

We had a wonderful day here in Florida. Christmas with our youngest daughters and grands was so much fun. We are all going to see the movie Avatar.

Enjoy the snow.
Love, Jeanne

We got rain and yesterday snow. Lots. I know those of you that don't get much snow are thrilled but for me I could do without! I'm so glad I don't have to go back to work until Jan. 4. I wouldn't mind winter so much if I didn't have to get out in it. It can be pretty.
I just wanted to let you know I made the pumpkin bread and it was a great hit! We loved your taco soup and now the bread. Keep the recipes coming!
