It's Snowing!!!

For those of you asking.....school was not canceled today because our ground is not frozen. Our high will be 45* today and Lexi did get to go back to school.
We had a prediction of snow but I never believe it until I actually see it because we don't really get that much right here in this area.....it is usually ice. At 3:00 a.m. when I peeked out it was pouring down rain. Then when I woke up at 6:00 a.m. and went to let the dogs out this is what greeted me. YAY...it is snowing!!!!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful "snowy" day!♥ We will enjoy it while it lasts. Hey Poppy you should have stayed a bit longer.......

Hi Darlene
WOW you have snow already! We had ice yesterday and some snow on higher ground nearby.
I enjoyed your Thanksgiving post. Looks like you had a fun time and ate well. I always enjoy hearing about how you celebrate Thanksgiving as it's just an ordinary day for us in England.
I hope your husband had a great birthday and I hope Lexi is feeling better today.

So far just rain here that I have seen...bet it was a surprise to actually see this early in the season.

Just some wet flakes here. Nothing like your picture. Isn't that something?

WHAT? You already have snow? Lucky.

Darlene,

Please keep your snow down in your part of the state. I'd like OKC area to stay rainy only. :)

Have fun building snowmen!!!

I'm wishing all of our snow your way too!! We don't have any yet and that is just fine with me. Suppose to get REALLY cold starting tomorrow.

I like snow .. only on the trees and lawns .. not on the roads.

We got a LOT of snow last year. And, that's not normal for my part of the world.

Today it's icey and 29 ... so, don't give 'it' any ideas.

Enjoy !!!

Fun!! We are supposed to get that this afternoon/evening. We will see!! :)

I LOVE how beautiful snow looks! You are so lucky! Being in the deep South, we're pretty much out of luck in the snow department...sniff, sniff!

No Way! We don't get too much of the white stuff around here but we can always hope. It makes Christmas that much more special.

I just love the snow, we are like you guys over there, we don't get it very much here in Seattle (with the exception of last year) Right now the sun is shining and it's COLD outside! Enjoy that beautiful snow-It really helps put me in the Christmas spirit!

Love,
Me~♥

Nothing. We had nothing but cold rain! Nothing! We wanted snow...glad YOU got it. It looked pretty in your pictures. Have an awesome day!

I kept wishing it would come this way...snow where you live and snow in Texas...surely it would come east! But no flakes, just big, wet, cold, drops!

I would enjoy snow MUCH more if I didn't have to drive in it! Maybe that should be a law... when snow is on the roads, no work!

SNOW!!! I'm so jealous. It's supposed to get much colder here in Alabama the next few days but hardly ever see snow. I'd love to see some this year.

jennykate77 said...

You got snow?!! I'm jealous. No snow yet up here around Tulsa. Just cold and dreary.

Hope you're having a great day and staying warm!♥

Oh I know everyone says it looks beautiful, but to me it looks COLD AND WET! I guess I'm a true Floridan. I had enough snow when I grew up in Maryland.

Farm Stores are only found in some parts of Florida, and that egg nog is way too rich for me. You do not want to get addicted to it.

I love it, Darlene! I LOVE snow. I'm so longing for our first snowfall this season.

The new banner pic is so very festive, too. Oh, glad you were able to order that book. It'll be glued to you, I bet, when you get it! There is so much inspiration in that book, as well as project ideas.

Hey Darlene! Wow! when we drove our kids back to ORU it was snowing in Arizone, New Mexico, Texas and then started raining in OK! Wow, what a trip...packed like sardines in the car...but it was fun...lots of laughing, snacks and music! I wouldn't trade that for anything. But I wanted to tell you it snowed here in S. Calif...and it is freezing! What a shock! We live in the mountains at 4000 feet elevation so we do get snow...it was a nice surprise.
I like your header too.
Blessings,
Debbie

Woo Hoo! Snow! How lovely, Darlene! I just love snow. Hope it stays a little while!
Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Wow, you had a lot more accumulation than we did! This was the best kind of snow, in my opinion - pretty and clean but not interfering with driving!

I was SO hoping that the snow would hold off for a while - well, a little while longer - but we finally got snow the other day, too! It melted pretty quickly - but it means winter has started ... and there will PLENTY more where that came from! :)

Deb said...

Still no snow here - it's a record...it's been 70 years since we had NO SNOW in November and now we are into December! Yesterday, we got our Christmas tree and people were out in short sleeved shirts!! Today, lots of rain.

Hey there Darlene ~

I Love It! I get really excited when they predict snow here too. It is so disappointing when you peek out in the middle of the night and it is raining...but super excited when you wake in the morn and snow is gently falling....love it!

Happy Belated Birthday to your Husband. I hope he had a great day.

I am loving your new header...very merry and bright. Girl, you really know how to "rock" the holidays!

Smiles ~ Ramona

Speaking of snow...I saved the java-script you gave us last year in a Microsoft Word document so I could easily add it again this year. Thanks for sharing. : )
SO SO happy to hear that Lexi was able to go back to school. She'll be in my prayers.
