It is Snowing and Birds Gone Wild.....

Here are pictures from Southern Oklahoma after several hours of snow. There have not been many of the big, pretty flakes.....mainly small flakes. Most of the time it almost looked like it was drizzling. It started around 10:00 a.m. this morning and these were taken at about 2:00 p.m.
Also, the birds have gone wild on and around the feeder. It has been so much fun watching them. All of them trying for a spot on the feeder and about a dozen on the ground under the feeder.
A lot of this has been going on inside the house!
Also, on my post dated Thursday.....I actually posted it this morning. I did a draft yesterday and (instead of auto posting like I normally do) waited until this morning when I woke up to see if I was going to post snow pictures at the top. It wasn't doing anything at the time, so I just told it to publish post thinking it would show Friday, at about 5:00 a.m. It didn't, it posted on the draft time (which was yesterday). So, none of you actually missed the Thursday post because it wasn't there until this morning (something new to learn each day☺).

Hope you are enjoying your day. We are sure enjoying looking at the beautiful snow.♥

Snow outside - - snooze inside..that about describes us too.

Our ice started yesterday morning, then sleet and now we had snow start at around 10.00 this morning and it is still going strong.

Stay warm.

Hi Darlene
Look at allll the snow you have. The birds are adorable trying to get their fill on such a cold looking day. It is pretty and I much rather look at all that prettyness on your site at your place rather than here where it normally would be.

We have been so lucky this winter. I just haven't had snow pictures to post about. We'll see what February has in store.

Enjoy it though...it is pretty.
have a great rest of the Friday...
and weekend!

The snow is coming our way. I need to get out and fill up the feeders for the birds! Stay warm!

Your birds are battling for a spot on that feeder. I didn't go out and refill my feeder cuz I'm a wimp. I did throw a bunch of food out on the ground and they came running. Now the food is covered by the snow. It's so beautiful! I can't believe how long it's been snowing.

I'm sure that you're tired of that cold, white, wet stuff by now, Darlene. I wish you warmth!

I'd like to join the cat.
It's finally started snowing here. I guess we'll just have to be surprised in the morning to see how much we get. G's gymnastics meet will be decided in the morning as well. Oh, the anticipation.

I think I'd rather be hanging around with the Cat today, rather than the birds. So good that you feed the birds. Take care on all that ice!

Hi Darlene, your snow pics are awesome. What is it about snow? We hate and love it. I do not like driving in it as our mountain roads are scary in the snow. The birds are adorable. My sister called and said the birds were very active while it is snowing. Maybe they need food for energy to keep warm. Great pics of the birds too.

Now, your cat looks so sweet sleeping so peacefully.

Thanks for letting me know about your post. I love it. I am working on tomorrow's post. A bit of a mix but I like it.

Hugs, Jeanne

Hi Darlene,
All your beautiful snow pictures are so pretty, however, I like to look at all that snow in pictures and not in real life...that is why I live in Southern California. It was 71 degrees here today.
I love all your bright colored birds at the bird feeders.

Your snow is beautiful also...and I love the picture(s) of the birds. Our birds have been pretty crazy here too. Zoey waits until the feeder is full of birds, then jumps off the porch toward them. I think we have 6-7 inches of snow on top of about an inch of ice. Thank Goodness we still have power. We are thankful for that. All my pictures were taken standing on the porch, hope to venture off porch tomorrow to get more photos. You and yours stay warm and safe. kdc

Hi Darlene, the snow started here in my part of NC around 6 PM and it's supposed to snow for 24 hours--yikes. Love those bird feeder pictures. I stocked up on extra bird seed yesterday, so I'm prepared during this storm.

Oh Darlene,
It looks really cold there! The daffodil fields are already blooming here-Just crazy how the weather is this year!
I've been in Spokane the last few days at Mom's. She is doing really well, in fact she will be here with my Grandma next weekend.
Hope it warms up for you real soon!

Tangie looks as if it makes no difference to him! Cats are like that though, aren't they? So sweet....
I love watching the birds flutter around the feeders, too.

Hey there ~

We could all take lessons from napping cats...and I love the bird feeder pictures...those pictures could be in a magazine. Stay warm and enjoy the snow...we here in the Northwest seem to be the only part of the country having spring~like weather...crazy EL NINO year! I will put some it in a virtual box and send it your way...until then...stay warm and enjoy the magical way snow can make life feel.

Happy Saturday my Friend.

The snow is beautiful! As well as the birds...and the sleeping cat. I would love for it to snow outside so we could just curl up on the coach all day and snooze. :-)

Darlene, Close the door! You're letting all the cold air out and it's ending up down here in Texas! Luckily, no precip came with it.
