Just cold here...I could see where your part of the state was in for some kind of moisture.

Take care - stay warm and dry!

I know you have got to be tired of this...I loved it when we got it a few weeks ago but I couldn't deal with it like you all do...Spring will be here soon.

We are expecting rain tomorrow. I am getting a little tired of all our rain. I would welcome snow!

We are under a lake effect snow warning with up to 12-inches of snow. I think today I will watch QVC's gardening show and wish for spring.

Hi there!

I think a mug of hot chocolate and soup for lunch are in order. That snow seems really cozy...and if you can't quit the snow...you might as well enjoy the coziness of it all! Just as long as it doesn't snow during the egg hunt...all is good.

Have a happy Tuesday.

In our area, we didn't get much snow, but did get icing....not too bad, but I get really worried when I see it start to collect on trees and lines. We survived a horrible storm 8 years ago and I NEVER want to go through that again. It's really cold now.

Loved the recipe review on your previous post....and Lexi "scraping" off the cranberries from the chicken. :) I would have eaten the cranberries and skipped the chicken!! We eat a LOT of fowl! :(

Stay warm! L, Dana

Hi Darlene, We didn't get much snow after all. I am glad. All is well because our car can drive down our road to freedom. HA! Tonight it will be below 20 degrees and possible snow.
I doubt it will be bad at all.

I made a big pot of veggie soup for supper. It is so much soup my sister and her dh are coming down to help eat it. I am making Jiffy cornbread and pumpkin custard for dessert. I got the recipe from the computer. I used whole eggs instead of egg whites so I hope it will be good. I'm thinking of making a pear and grated cheddar cheese for a salad. I should take photos for Foodie Friday.

See, your food challenge has me thinking about food. HA!

Stay warm,
Hugs, jeanne

Hi Darlene
I'm glad you won't be getting more snow for a while. Those pictures in the evening are so pretty...I love black ... and white pictures even being out during the day on a black and white day.
Keep warm.
We had some snow the other night and we are supposed to get some tonight but so far we're doing good.

hope your day has been a good one.

It's so funny you posted this, Darlene- we had another dusting last night before we went to bed too... I told Hubby this is a never-ending winter! LOL

We're getting more snow today too.. at least that's what they're saying. Ugh! I am SO sick of it.

Your cinnamon bread in a previous post looks fantastic and is making me hungry. Darn you. ;)

Snow is a real treat for a New Orleanian like me, so I can't understand what all the fuss is about. ;-)

We had some flakes yesterday, but no sticking. It was also in the mid to high 50's last week and sunny.

Back to cold this weekend.

We got our dusting yesterday Darlene. It was pretty coming down, but I'm glad it was washed away by the rain/sleet that followed. Cold and windy today, but I found a blooming camellia, so I know Spring will come eventually!

Can you believe the weather we have been getting this winter??? Crazy! It looked like a snow globe all day Tuesday here... nothing stuck. Today, it was 58! I'm ready for the spring! =)
