Random Stuff (Spring, Snow, Burlap)....

I have had Spring on my brain the past few days, so I changed my big outdoor wreath to reflect it.  Oh look, it seems the Easter Bunny has already left some eggs there for safekeeping.♥
It looks like we may have more of this though today, and maybe again on Sunday night or Monday.
Also, I finally did a little makeover project.  Some of you might remember this little footstool I found at a garage sale last summer.  I re-covered it with burlap.  LOVE it!
Hope you all are having a great Friday.

Hi Darlene!
Trust me, I've been longing for Spring to arrive, too! Unfortunately, I think we still have a ways to go. Have you had enough of snow already? Two days of it was plenty for me! Your footstool looks great! Enjoy your weekend!

Hi. The wreath is so pretty and I love the eggs on it. Love the footstool also. I hope we don't get any more snow. It is raining here right now. But the temp is 38 so that helps. Lets keep our fingers crossed for no more snow and for spring to hurry up. Have a good weekend. M

Will Spring ever arrive?

Snowing now in my part of the state and I am sure you have received too.

Loved the stool make over.

I'm springing up the inside of my home, as well. If it won't hurry up outside, at least it will inside:)
The footstool looks great - I love burlap.
Enjoy your weekend. Hopefully it will be snow free.

Morning, Darlene!

Oh, Spring is definitely on my mind as well! Especially with the horrid weather we're having today. Snowy, 60 mph winds, drifts, cold - yuk! I think I'm really going to switch my decor gear to Spring starting today!

Your little footstool turned out so darn cute! Isn't burlap wonderful?!

Have a great weekend

Good Morning My Snow~Loving Friend!

I love the stool! You did such a professional job...very cute.

Isn't it funny that changing something as simple as a wreath can change your whole mood. By the way, I love that Easter wreath...totally delightful.

Have a great weekend...it is pouring rain here....POURING! But I will be thinking of you while you are on "snow watch"...fun!

I can't wait for Spring! We are still sitting in the 50's during the day and freezing temps at night. Yuck! However I'd be A-OK if it would snow here, but we would never be so lucky. : )

Love the wreath and stool by the way!

Great wreath, Darlene! More snow? We're lucky to only have a little rain today.

Hi Darlene,
Everything bloomed here a month early-So I'm going a little more "spring" crazy then normal.

I think we neede to do what you are doing and just hang our spring things and force the winter out!

Noelle IS so spoiled but in a good way. She is a big hugger (she gives the best hugs in the world) and is always always full of kisses. We are enjoying her so much!

I think you should try pumpkins this year-they are easy yet so expensive to buy in the fall.
Have a fab weekend,

Robin~♥

Darlene,
I found your blog by the comment that you posted on CosmoGirls blog.
You have such a fun blog, and it has been a treat to read your posts!
I do love the little footstool, what a happy ending ! :)
I agree... Spring needs to get here, and quick! My eyeballs are frozen.. they need to thaw out looking at a sunny day!
Have the best day.

Hi Darlene, love that mosaic. Love all your photos and you know I want to see spring happening. My dogwoods are starting the budding process. Last year a late frost stopped the trees from blooming as much. I hope it doesn't happen again.

The stool looks great. Good job. Makeovers are so much fun when they turn out so nice.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Love and Hugs, Jeanne

Darlene,

We are so looking forward to spring although our winter has been so mild this year. It was fun to swap with our neighbors elsewhere! :-)
Your wreath makes me want to start putitng our spring up and at least give me hope this brown grey earth will start to bloom again.
Lexi is again so beautiful.

Hi Darlene,
Just catching up in Blogland today. Wish I could be more consistant!!
Way to go on this footstool makeover. What an improvement!!
I think I'll try the Zesty Chicken recipe below...maybe switch to sour cream??? And I've been wanting to try some of that monkey bread for a while now. Thanks for sharing!
And last but not least, the pic of "Mama Kitty" wearing her little crown was just TOO precious.

Your cheerful wreath makes me want to head to the basement and start hauling up boxes labeled "spring/Easter"! Would you believe I still have my Christmas stuff to put away....it's in the basement, just not back on the shelves. :(

We're having warmer temps...supposed to be in the 40s this week. THEN more snow. Can you believe it?

LOVE your stool redo! Hope you're having a great weekend! L, Dana
