Copycat.....the Sincerest Form of Flattery (Making over Miley).......

I had to show you the CUTEST thing!!!!  Rachel at Made with Love and Glue here showed what she did with a Miley Cyrus Wal-mart Clearance dress for $3.00.  I loved it and knew Lexi would love it too, and she did!!!!! (Remember, you can click on any picture to enlarge it.)
When Lexi got home from school on Tuesday (on our 74 degree day) she couldn't wait to put on her new skirt and do a "modeling" session.  It is really hard for us to find skirts that are cute, small enough in the waist and long enough (without looking "frumpy") for school.  This one is perfect.  The waist is still a bit big, but with a tucked in shirt and the wide elastic, you can't tell.  These dresses are junior sizes and I managed to get one XS and one S.  These are also perfect because Lexi's school colors are black and white, so this will go with tons of things we have.  Again, THANK YOU so much Rachel for posting about this and sharing it with us.
Hope you are having a wonderful Thursday.♥

This is such a great idea.
Some of that Miley line is cute but then they added party club looking details so this is such a great way to make it more age appropiate for our girls!!
Love it!
Enjoy the sunshine!!

Hi Darlene, I am happy to be back and yes, I did accomplishment so much I surprised myself. Thank you so much for your comments while I was on my break.

First of all I wanted to finish painting my great room. Done!!! I will post it on Monday with Show your Cottage, hosted by Cielo. Along with Blue Monday. I have 20 foot ceilings in that room and an 'A' frame wall of windows. Whew, what a job. I did hire my nephew-in-law to help with the highest part. I LOVE how it looks.

The weather warmed up a bit so I planted some pansies in some pots. I know they can stand some cold weather. Weeded a bit and enjoyed being outside.

Then some spring cleaning, like the baseboards lamp shades, etc. How do those things get soooo dusty?I scrolled down and LOVED Lexie and her dad's special dance. Lexie looks so pretty in her red dress. Oh, and those shoes. Adorable. They look so happy and Lexie had a blast dancing too. A special post and your mosaic was perfect.

Love the skirt transformation too. Lexie looks so cute posing. I hope I get to meet all of you for a visit. I do like the pretty dishes for a real bargain. Perfect for a fancy dessert.

I have missed our visits and I am glad to wish you a happy day.
Hugs xoxo, Jeanne
