Menu for April 5th - 11th and Review of Last Week's New Recipes....

Be sure to visit I'm an Organizing Junkie for hundreds of menus for the week.
  • Monday - Leftovers - Ham, green beans, deviled eggs
  • Tuesday - Leftovers - Chicken soft tacos
  • Wednesday - From last weeks menu, I got a little off track (Breakfast for Dinner) Ham and Hash Browns (new recipe), fruit, biscuits
  • Thursday - Macaroni and Cheese with Ham, carrots
  • Friday - Lexi has a solo dance competition (please wish her good luck), so we will eat out
Review of last weeks new recipes:

Chicken Soft Tacos - DELICIOUS!!  Easy and a great taste.  This would also be good for a pot luck or get together.
Pineapple Sweet Potatoes - Didn't take a picture.  Not a favorite so I won't be making it again.

On Wednesday I'll show you pictures from the Taylor Swift concert.  For those of you asking about it.....IT WAS FABULOUS!!

I bet the ham and hashbrowns will be real tasty.

Have a great week...sure enjoying these warmer temps...more working in the muscles are screaming but they will just have to get used to bending, stretching, etc in the garden once again.

Oh, my gosh! Those chicken tacos look soooooo good! I just looked at the recipe and how easy can it be! I can't wait to try this! With baseball coming up I rely on my crock pot SO much. Woo hoo! Love new recipes.

And I smiled big time when I read you didn't like the pineapple sweet potatoes. I had a dream last night where our worship pastor was sitting on my left and our youth pastor was sitting on my right. Each had a small bowl of sweet potatoes he was eating. Our youth pastor had mini-marshmallows on his (my preference when brown-sugar-and-pecans aren't used) and our worship pastor had pineapples in his. I told him that that was gross and I didn't know how he ate it. LOL! And I actually feel the same way in real life! :D

Good Morning!
Sounds like you had a blast at the concert. Yummy looking menu this week. I would venture a guess that a lot of us will be having left over ham this week :) I know we will.
Best of luck to Lexi!
Have a great day!

Yum! Those chicken tacos look really good!

I haven't even thought about my menu for the week! I need to get busy. Allison ended up staying at Grandma and Pa Pa's last night so I'm on my own. I'm hoping to get some done and menu planning is on my list!

Have a great day and Good luck to Lexi!

You are making me hungry, Darlene! :)

Congrats on your 30th and I'm betting Lexi LOVED the Taylor concert!

We had a fun trip....but the shopping wasn't good. We were disappointed in the flea market part of the sale. The Arbors were fun..I thought they would be full of cheap imports, but there were some wonderful vendors in there. We still had a great time.....but a very long drive. I think I saw the exit for your town off I35 if I recalled the name correctly. I waved at you and said Happy Easter just in case! :)

Gotta get the mess put away that I unloaded from the car last night..then I think I'll take a nap!:)

Hope you had a great Easter! L, Dana

Hello Cutie Pie :)
It is a big project to paint the kitchen cupboards, but I put my mind to it that I would just take my time. Slow and steady. I recommend that you prime with Zinsser. I buy mine at Walmart. That is the BEST primer, and it will stick to anything. I scrubbed my cupboards and then primed and painted ... no sanding needed. Then, because I'm cheap, I spray painted my cupboard hardware with rubbed bronze paint. Saved me a ton of money. The feeling of an old time farm kitchen, sure made all the work worth it :)
We have squirrels in the mountains here, but I've not really heard of them being in town, so this was a surprise. I do kind of miss the little guy:)
