Recipe Review, Lemon Pudding Pie

Well, I have fallen off the cooking wagon.  My menu Mondays are going to be gone for a while, because we have mainly been grilling and/or just eating lighter since it has been so hot and Lexi has been out of school.  I will still let you know when I try a new recipe (if we like it).  This is the last new recipe I made.
Cheesy Macaroni-Beef Skillet - This was so easy and had a DELICIOUS taste!

This is just off the side of a pudding box.
Classic Pudding Pie
Prepare as directed for pudding, reducing milk to 1 3/4 cups (For fuller pie, use 2 pkg. 3.4 oz. each and 2-3/4 cups milk)
Pour at once into Honey Maid Graham Pie Crust.  Refrigerate at least 1 hour (3 hours for fuller pie) or until set.  Top each serving with Cook Whip whipped topping.
(I made the fuller pie....YUM it is delicious!!)

Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday.♥

Summer time eating is really hit or miss at our place too...so many things seem to occupy our time...but today we are having chicken and dumplings (a dear friend gave me the recipe several years ago).

Hi Darlene, I loved your menus. You cook like I did when my children were growing up. I don't blame you for wanting a break from posting them. That lemon pie looks awesome. I happen to love lemon pie and key lime pic too. I guess living in Florida all those years made me a citrus hound. I do miss my grapefruit tree. My Dad planted it. Sigh.

I am going to get my grill cleaned up and get ready for grand kids week. Lots of grilling when I have a big crowd. It starts on June 19th.

Have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Jeanne

We need a new grill and then maybe we will eat lighter too!
Hubby has lost a few pounds but I haven't..I am still fat and sassy!!
I worked outside yesterday and planted the trimmings you gave me..they had a really good root system going!! I was able to pot two plants with them..yay!!
Hope y'all are enjoying the lazy days of summer!

Good Morning Darlene ~

I will be right over for a slice of that pie! I love a good lemon pie...delish! Don't you just love grilling season. I am deep in sewing for fall and Christmas...so I have to keep remembering that it is JUNE! It is hard when it has been raining like crazy for days here. So to help remind me that it is summer, I will be right over with a beach towel and lemonade and you bring that pie....sounds fun huh?!

I hope you guys are having a great summer and I will talk to you soon.

Love,
Ramona :)

Hi Darlene
The pudding pie looks delicious. I love puddings/cakes etc. Lemon Meringue pie with icecream is my favorite.
Happy grilling.

First, I LOVED the photos of Lexi working away in preparation for Alan's dad's visit! Tell her I'm really IMPRESSED!!!

Second, I agree with you about the menus for summer foods. We do the same....cold foods, grilled foods. I even put my electric roaster on the patio and cook in that instead of heating up the oven in the kitchen. It has really helped to keep the house cooler without stressing the A/C.

Hope you and Lexi are enjoying the Summer Fun of No School! L, dana

Oh yum. I didn't cook much this past year since I went back to work, but I'm in a new-recipe-exploration mood right now. Fun, fun, fun.
