Well, they aren't really I am just "using" them....lol. On July 7th I was finally fed up. I have been eating WAY too much, not exercising, gaining weight, and just generally not feeling as good as I could. So, it was time to do something about it. I am mostly walking on my treadmill, but throwing in a Slim in Six workout DVD occasionally. Also, the Just Dance Wii and playing in the pool burn calories. I just HAD to get active again. I am also counting calories and logging everything in a little notebook I keep with me. I keep track of everything I eat and every time I exercise. My treadmill is nice because it shows my calories burned. At this point I have lost 12 pounds. I can already fit back into a pair of capris that had been too tight which is a huge motivation to keep going.
Here is my other BFF....my new Nike Air Max tennis shoes. I needed a new pair and hubs made me look at some that were a bit pricey. I'm not even going to tell you how much these babies cost (more than any pair of shoes I have EVER bought), but WOW are they comfortable!! My feet and legs are thanking me for spending the moola!
