Hi Darlene, Lexi is so cute with her 'peace' backpack. With her outgoing personality, she will have lots of friends to enjoy, I am sure. She will probably see lots of her existing friends as well. A new experience and my guess is she will love middle school.
Have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Jeanne

She has been modeling outfits all week trying to pick one.
They are not allowed to use backpacks only totes as they want them to use their lockers..should be interesting getting all of those supplies to school!!!??

Hope she has a great day at school & no homework.
Adorable! Love her hair - would have died for curls when I was in school!
Ahh, so cute and it makes me want those days back...I loved those first days of returning back to school and then hearing all about it when they came home to warm cookies! ;D

Darlene, I'm checking in from my break to see how things are there. I hope that Lexi's first day went well and that the 6th grade will be as much fun as I remember my 6th grade year being! Love her cute backpack.
I'm planning to be back blogging again in September. That's what I hope at this point. Lots of craziness here. Sending you much love across the miles...

She is so cute!!! My three oldest grandchildren start 6th grade this year. 2 granddaughters will be in middle schools and our grandson will stay in an elementary school. It is hard to believe they are 11 years old!

Hi Darlene
Grade 6? Oh my. I bet it feels like she only 6 years old never mind going to grade 6. First days of school are always nervous - I can vouch for that.
She will do good. I can tell she has all the confidence and goodness in her to make it all good!
Can't wait to hear how the day went..
have a wonderful day yourself..
