I'll Take This......

temperature ANY day in the month of August in Southern Oklahoma!!!!!  On Monday our high was 104.  Yesterday, it rained and brought in a cool front.  This is a WONDERFUL temperature for an afternoon in August.  Tonight it is supposed to get in the 60's.....WOOHOO!

I'm gonna enjoy it while it lasts!

I'm hearing you girly! I'm loving it as well and my yard and flowers seem to be saying THANK YOU GOD for the cool breeze. They have suffered so much in the unbearable heat.

Now I'm ready for Fall...just wish it would last till Spring so we could just SKIP Winter all together (except Christmas!).

Hi Darlene
Glad to hear you are getting some cooler weather. I can't imagine 104! I don't think it has ever reached 104 in England!

HI Darlene, I agree I'm envious of you and that weather. It has been brutally hot here in the 100's....this last weekend 113. But it did rain here today out of the blue.
Blessings,
Debbie

We had that front blow through a few days ago -- it's been in the high 70's -- low 80's ever since. Heaven. Thanks for your nice comment on my blog yesterday!

Don't blame ya!!
So glad that you are getting a bit of relief from all the heat and humidity that you've had there!
We are still freezing in the morning and cooking by the afternoon. Hope you have a wonderful day today and that the weather is lovely!!

Hi Darlene, these past couple of days I have been so busy. Our weather has been in the low 80's and 60's at night. I'm loving it!!!

I'm glad you are getting some relief with the lower temps. Fall will be welcome here. I hope it lasts for you.

Lexi and her friend look so cute in the photos. I have seen those great big lollipops in the Cracker Barrel many times. It is huge. HA!

How does Lexi like middle school?

Have a great day in the cooler temps.
Hugs, Jeanne

Hey there!

Fall is coming...I promise...we will be talking about snow before you know it...but for today, I am glad you are enjoying some well deserved cool down.

Enjoy your Thursday...soon we will see pumpkins in front of the grocery store instead of watermelons.

Love to all.

I'm so ready for fall and I know you have to be. 104. I'd be melting. I guess you could just sleep in the pool. I've thought of that several hot nights.

Hugs, Gretchen

Yes! Yes! Yes! I think we are all in need of relief. It was much milder this morning. We did have quite the storm last night. Doggie didn't sleep, so mom didn't sleep.

Enjoy the break.

I hear you! We've had glorious days this week!!! Tomorrow, I have my first fall sale. . . outdoors and under a tree!!! It will be a great day for that type of sale. Too bad I didn't get much made. . . the promoter upped the date a month.....with just three weeks notice. I didn't really have a chance to work on it until this week, and then I was sick until Wed. SO, my table will be fairly skimpy, but I will soak up the amazing day!!

Hope you have a fab. weekend! L, Dana

Darlene, thank you so much for your kind comment about our daughter. She suffers to this day with pain in her legs and she carries on helping others. We are so proud of her.

Have a beautiful Sunday.

Darlene, thanks for stopping by my blog and seeing my trip to Bricktown. Isnt it great? You really need to go back to the Memorial, there is such a feeling of peace there now. Oklahoma did such a wonderful job in memorailizing the tragic bombing and will be kept in history for all to learn and remember what went on there that day. Something none of us will forget. I see we have a lot in common, I too am trying to watch my weight, dont you love Hungry Girl? I too am enjoying cooler temps.
