Tasty Tuna Casserole.....

Here is another recipe we tried from the Taste of Home Cookbook.  I'm finding some of the pasta recipes to be a bit bland for our taste.  This one was pretty good as it was, but for leftovers I will use what hubby always uses on his pasta.......Picante sauce (salsa).  Two tablespoons only adds 10 more calories to this dish.  The serving size is 1 1/2 cups so it is a large, filling serving.

Lexi thinks she did well on her Science test yesterday.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  I was quite proud of her though in Reading/Writing.  This is the test (they will take on Friday) where we are studying all the parts of a book/story.  The teacher asked if anyone thought they knew all of the answers and Lexi was the only one to raise her hand.  She then went up to the front of the class and the teacher said each definition and Lexi had to say the word.  She got ALL of them right and the teacher gave her a pass to use on any daily assignment where she would not have to do the page, but would make an automatic 100.  YAY....way to go Lexi!!!!!♥

She is reaping the rewards of all her hard work. That is a great lesson in itself!
I like how her teacher does that. Teaching life lessons is just as imp. as teaching the curriculum. Yea for Lexi!!
The tuna looks great. I have never made a tuna casserole, can you believe that? Have a nice day. It sure cooled off yesterday and that rain was great.

That is great for Lexi..I know you are very proud of her!

Tuna casserole was one of the first dishes I made for Leon when we were dating...did not have much in the cabinets - so it was a quick dish. Can not say I impressed him with my culinary skills on it though.

Looks yummy, Darlene! I really like tuna casserole, but I just can't seem to get some of my family on board with it. Especially Hubby! He's a picky eater. Maybe I'll give it another try using the recipe you've shared. ;o)

Way to go Lexi! Hard work, I'm sure, but worth it :)
Thanks for sharing the recipe too Darlene! I think I'll have to give it a try. I think I made tuna casserole one time in the past 23 years. My sweet husband just isn't that fond of it. Heck....I'll just cut it down and make it for me :)
Have a great day today !
