Teeth Pulled and #11.......

Yesterday, Lexi had to go to the dentist and get her last three stubborn baby teeth pulled.  Her permanent teeth were coming up under these and the teeth just wouldn't get loose.  I love the sticker they gave her (remember you can click to enlarge the collage), it says Ny Nouth Nis Afleep!  She was so worried and it all went just fine.  She is SOOOO glad THAT is over!  Oh, and see that necklace.....it is from #11....she also has on earrings (you can see them in the next picture) that he gave her.
Several of you have asked in comments and e-mails to see #11.  Here he is.  This is after one of the 6th grade football games.  Awwww, aren't they cute!
Hope you are all having a wonderful day.  We are supposed to get a small cool front by this Sunday....YAY!!!

Cute couple -

I am sure Lexi and pleased that part with the dentist is a thing of the past.

Cooler weather - we can handle that!

Glad that went smoothly. Gracie had 6 pulled (3 at a time) a few weeks ago. It was harder on me to sit & watch them pull, twist & yank on her than it was for her - she just laid back & watched cartoons.

Good Morning Darlene ~

Cute post. Cute couple...Lexi is such a beauty! I am glad the dentist thing is over...I worry about that stuff too...I don't know why...pain doesn't scare me at all and there never IS any pain but I just don't like going to the dentist. Must be memories of painful dentistry in the 60's.

Cute, cute pictures...I love that sticker...too funny!

Happy fall to you!!!

Smiles ~ Ramona

Hi Darlene, poor Lexi but she doesn't seem too under the weather. I love her smile. Number 11 is such a handsome guy. Lexi looks so pretty and happy standing next to him. And jewelry already. He knows the way to a girls heart and the jewelry is so sweet. I know Lexi's favorite number now. '11'

I do hope you get that cooler weather. Our week coming is full of stuff too. We are going to Raleigh for the Senior Olympics Game's national competition. Bill is a medal winner in the local competition in bowling. Franklin has over 100 medal winners in the games and they will all be in Raleigh competing. A couple from our town are the torch bearers. Would you believe this couple went to high school with Bill in Miami. It is a small world huh? Our son lives in Raleigh and so does my friend 'Pink Sat.' Beverly. She actually lives in Durham 1/2 hour away from our son's home. We have been friends for 40 years. We will get to spend some time together as well.

I didn't mean to go on but I feel so close to you Darlene. I hope we can meet some time. You are a dear blogging friend.
Love, Jeanne

Jock meets ballerina! How cute! I had a boyfriend in 6th grade too. I laugh, I broke up with him when he tried to kiss me. My dad said I couldn't kiss any boys! LOL!
To this day when dad puts his foot down we always say, "Dad has spoken!"

Have a nice cool weekend!

Hi Darlene
Oh my poor Lexi but it looks like she survived it all so well...and thats a great picture she is still smiling.

I hope your weather cools down and it will feel more comfortable for you.

Our weather was back up to 93 yesterday with a lot of humidity and today it is down to about 60. Such a change but its just fine. It is overcast...

See you in 2 weeks...keep well.
*hugs*

The “badge of completion” sticker is so cute! I also had that thing when I was a kid like you; it was given by my dentists in Murrells, Inlet as a sign of my good behavior during the procedure, and the completion as well.
Just to add, Lexi is a real beauty! Even without those newly-pulled teeth, her cuteness and beauty are showing. So how was the visit? I am pretty sure that you feel more comfortable now. Congratulations again, Lexi!
