To Dinner and then the Haunted House.....

We had a great time with some friends on Friday night.  First, we went out to eat at Santa Fe Steakhouse.  This longhorn is out front and of course, the girls had to get their picture on it.
Next, it was what they had been waiting for.......the haunted house.
It was sooooo funny because the lady (below left) knew us so she was saying......come on in Lexi we won't hurt you. FREAKED Lexi  Soooooo, she and Addie were screaming and running around just on the porch.  Next thing we know the camo/skeleton guy was standing there staring at the girls.  At that point, I didn't know if they would even go IN the haunted house.
The four "girls" decided to go on in.  Lexi and Addie wouldn't even have gone in if we wouldn't have gone with them.
They made it through with a LOT of screaming.  Also, the guy in the camo/skeleton mask was the one that chased them out of the house with the chainsaw roaring.......    The instant they heard that chainsaw start up they were outta there!!!!!!!!!
Such a fun night with friends!!!!!♥

Darlene, I just love those pictures of you and Lexi as well as y'all with your friends. How much weight have you lost? You always looked good, but girl, you are so tiny in those cute jeans! I'm proud of you.

Okay, got to run and start some housework in a few.

Fun times!! Glad you guys found a scary haunted house....we took the kids on a haunted train/house and it was not scary so we were all a little bummed.

OH.MY.GOODNESS. They are so much braver than me. I'm such a scaredy cat when it come to stuff like that. I freak out. The last time we went to a big haunted house I about peed my pants and I think I was in tears by the time we got out...and I was about 25. LOL.

LOVE the pics!

Hope you're having a great Monday!♥

So glad you had a fun night! Here in Atlanta, there is the #1 ranked haunted house in the nation...NETHERWORLD! You wouldn't pay me a single cent to step inside that place! I'm a big ol' chicken!

Hi Darlene, this is just too cute. I have always kind of hated scary haunted houses but have been to many with our children growing up. Lexi and Addie are darling in the photos and you look beautiful. A fun house post for sure.

Our huge camera club event was lots of hard work and FUN. It went on for five days. Our company left yesterday. The pup and I melted into the couch pretty much the whole lazy rainy day. It felt good to do nothing for a change.

Have a happy day.
Warm hugs, Jeanne

I'm so glad that you gals had a fun time together, and by the cute smiles on your faces, you must not have been too terrified by the experience :)
Have a great day !!

Hi Darlene
How fun...I bet the girls were scared with all of that going on. I'm glad you and your friend were able to go in with them. It sounds like a really fun evening with your friends...

ooooooooo---I'd be running and screaming, too. My husband always had "haunted house detail" when our kids were growing up. The last time I went to a spooky exhibit was the "Terror Train" at the KC Zoo. We all climbed on the little train that goes all over the night....and got the bee-jeebers scared out of us by folks stationed all around. Chainsaws...I remember chainsaws. scares me to even think about it! :)

Hope you're having a good week. I have a sale F and S, so I'm working like crazy.

Happy Halloween! L, Dana

Funny! I hate haunted houses - even though I know it's all an act. I'm just too jumpy! LOL Sounds like a fun night.

Hope you all did okay with those terrible storms that ripped through the center of the country the other day. That was some vicious weather.

Oh my gosh!! Poor Lexi!!
I remember going to haunted houses- they were always so much fun! I remember one in particular that scared me the most- someone was laying on the floor grabbing peoples' legs when you least expected it- I nearly wet my pants!! *LOL*
