I'm Still Here / Basketball 6th Grade.......

Hi everyone......it's ME....do you remember me???  Thank you so much for all of your e-mails and comments hoping everything is alright.  Everything is fine.  I knew when I got Facebook that I would have a hard time keeping my blog up and I have.  I am vowing to do better and at least post once a week.  I have missed you all very much and I definitely want to keep up with all of you again.

Lexi started basketball.  She is number 10 and in the second game got hurt.  A much bigger girl fell on her and bent her wrist backwards. The Dr. thought it was a hairline fracture, but thankfully when the radiologist read it there wasn't one.  She missed two games with a sprain and now is playing again and loving it.  She is a starter and in most of the game, only getting taken out to catch her breath.  Remember you can click on the collage to enlarge the pictures.
She also has a new boyfriend.....lol.  Ryan broke up with her but his best friend was waiting in line....hahaha.  He truly is a sweetheart compared to the other one and they are doing great.  They have now been "going out" (you know that is the term they use) for 6 weeks.  He is on the boys basketball team and made sure he got the same number as Lexi so he is also number 10.....awwwwww!

My parents are in town and we are getting ready to prep our Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, so Thursday all we will have to do is cook everything.   Again, thank you all so much for checking on our family.  I hope to be around to visit you soon.♥

I played basketball in HS too. She is going to have so much fun and make such great memories. Can't believe she is into boys already..lol.
FB did the same thing to me. I've had a hard time enjoying it lately because I feel so guilty about neglecting my blog. It's hard to keep up with everything but I am finally getting a little bored with FB and not spending as much time on it. So... I am trying to do better...still not where I want to be. Look me up on FB--Michelle Menasco
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

HI Darlene, I wondered too where you were! We all start to worry after 7 days! But that's a good thing...right? Facebook is a whole world unto itself! I'm there to visit my kids more...and see what funny pictures of college they post. Some are funny..some are shocking...like the video my son posted of guys on his floor doing a chest slap...WWF sort of thing. He ended up breaking 3 ribs...and I had the proof online...plus several aunts and uncles that asked me if I had seen his video on facebook. I told him his entire family is watching....not to be a knucklehead!!! hahaha
Anyhooooo....I'm a chatterbox today I guess.
HOpe your basketball time with Lexi is wonderful!

So glad to read you are alive and kicking!!! I had to back off blogging because it can eat up way too much time. I do FB, too, but don't find that very interesting...so it's not a temptation...thank goodness. I'm distracted enough! :)
That Lexi is totally amazing! I've never seen a gal who excels in everything...and she DOES!! I love basketball. My girl played it from 2nd grade to HS....she was also tall and was a great player. Sadly, it gets really rough the older you get. I would just cringe when she battled for the ball with another girl. These days, I love college basketball the best....especially during March Madness!

Hope your Thanksgiving was great......L, Dana

I am so glad that grade 6 is a loooooong ways behind me. Too much drama, don't you think?

Well, actually.....poinsettias are pretty much as dramatic as 6th grade, come to think of it.

Good to see you are all doing well :)

Hi Darlene, I am going to check if you are on my Facebook list. I don't go there very often but I like the idea of it. I can't keep up with my blogging friends and Facebook too. I do understand your blogging time is limited when you are involved with Facebook. It is a fun way to communicate.I was happy to see your comment today. BIG smile.
Love you, Jeanne

Lexi sounds like a smart girl, she went for the nicer guy. Tell her to keep that up!
